Luca is the owner of a 52 feet luxury sailing yacht built from Hans Cristian yard and designer by the marine architect Daught Peterson, interior by Italian designer / architect Melania Perini (granite kitchen tops, solid teak interior, Alcantara cushions). The crew has a very good track record in the hospitality industry. Movie and rock stars know the Italian & Thai hospitality of Independence. Welcome on board

The Anghtong Marine Park
Chartered a weekend the "Independence" yacht. The vessel was in excellent mantinance condition. The 52 foot sailing yacht had plenty of room for our family of four adults, beautiful teak interiors and full airconditional. We were picked up in Four Season beach by dinghy and then sailed to the Marine park Anghtong.
We had the best crew in Thailand. Captain Luca is an accomplished sailor who preferred sailing to motoring. We could do as much or as little actual sailing as we desired. He knew all of the great anchorages and was very familiar with all of the shore attractions.      He is very safety conscious and I felt very comfortable with my family sailing with him.
The Italian meals were awesome. Three hot, gourmet meals a day, plus appetizers, cocktails and drinks. Everyone in our household are foodies, and we all raved about the meals. Wine and Liquor was all top shelf. It's my first sailing vacation that I did not lose weight. Nok is also a reliable first mate and assisted with the sailing of the yacht. Both had charming personalities and made the vacation awesome. My family fell in love with them and a few tears were shed at goodbye. I would sail with Luca and Nok again anytime.

The best sunset ever

This is the second time I have a cruise with Independence Yacht; staying with Captain Luca in his boat, is like feeling at home!
I immediately noticed the changes that the boat is going through: Luca explained that air conditioning will soon be available and this is a good point in a place where the climate is so hot! This time, my boyfriend and I, could experience a romantic cruise and an unforgettable sunset, we had an excellent French Champagne and delicious finger food. I have to say again: thank you to Captain Luca and all his crew for the professionalism and the love you always have for your guests. See you soon!

Fantastic Experience

This is one of those things experiences to never forget!

Brilliant day out with great weather, awesome Italian food and plenty of drink.

We travelled out to the small paradise island Koh Rap and it’s turquoise coral sea for some snorkeling, then back in via other picturesque islands. Storm picked-up in minutes but quickly moved away.

Luca was a great host and his assistant was a true superhero, balancing the boat and taking care of us all onboard.

Highly recommend as a must do experience!

Just returned from fantastic trip to Samui. Highlight of which was a day out on the Independence yacht with Captain Lucas and his crew first mate Nok. What a brilliant day which we can fully recommend to anyone. I’m not the most agile of people and Nok was so helpful showing me how to get on board and pampering all day long. We sailed out of Bangrak bay to Phangan and moored in Koh Ma where the chef prepared a very nice seafood lunch for us. Sailing back and enjoying a new Independence wine selection, canapes and France champagne at sunset time was a trulywonderful experience. Thank you Lucas and crew we had a brilliant day.

Sailing in style

Fantastic yacht and crew. This is a real luxury sailing yacht experience. We did an afternoon/Sunset cruise and it was the best trip we've had in Thailand. Lying on the deck beds, looking up at the sails, watching a stunning sunset is an experience that's very hard to beat. I would highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys the better things in life.
10/10! I will be doing this again on my next visit.

We did a half day cruise with 8 people and it was the best. Luca took care of everything, the boat was large enough with plenty of space to hang out for two couples and four teenage boys. Jump overboard for snorkeling or just a dip. Visited Ko Pang Nan on a mellow route that ended with a spectacular sunset on return. Everyone loved it! Bravo!

An outstanding day trip thank you

Outstanding day trip, food and time at sea. We were delighted with our day on board; the crew were excellent and we enjoyed endless drinks and food between stops to snorkel, swim and enjoy some really beautiful beaches. It was relaxing, unforgettable and a delight. The healthy and plentiful fresh food was really welcome as well as the attentive service + thank you, recommended.

Three days in Paradise

We had an amazing time with Luca and the crew over a 3 day 2 night cruise of Koh Phangan and the Marine park. My wife and I were catered to like royalty and had everything prepared during the stay. We visited private beaches, beautiful snorkeling spots, and great bars/restaurants. The team sensed intuitively we we wanted to rest and when we could use some adrenaline. This is the second time we book with Luca and it never disappoints. We definitely recommended it to anyone looking for gorgeous views, relaxation, and a chance to disconnect. We hope to book again next year as an annual event! Thank you, Luca!!

Luca and his crew gave my family of 3 a wonderful experience sailing from Samui to Koh Phangan. The location was amazing and the food delicious.
