Great islands but extremely long travel

After an early start we waited outside the next collection point for 40 mins ! We were then taken onboard the boat (unclean) and after a further 40 min wait we headed off to do our kayaking! 90 mins later we arrived at the kayak destination after hearing a pointless and incomprehensible speech by tour operator we finally got shoved... The Samui Island Tour was a great way to see some of the beauty that Koh Samui and the Angthong National Marine Park have to offer. First, I would like to say that I really liked the two hosts of our boat; Christine and Yao. Christine is enthusiastic and funny and was an outstanding kayak guide. I highly suggest doing... More

The islands are really beautiful, the beaches were gorgeous. Unfortunately, the travel from Chaweng to the first island took 2h30 in total, even more at the end of the day due to traffic jams longer boat trip. This really annoyed us a lot. Because of that, I would not recommend this tour. Nearly 7h of travel time + lunch on... More

this is one of the budget trip operators to the Ang Thong islands and the boat was totally packed. full credit to the tour organisation and the staff that everything ran amazingly well, including the hotel pick-up drop-offs with all activities running on time, good care taken of the old and young when boarding boats etc, enough food and good... We researched the tours to Angthong National Marine Park and we have to say that we were really pleased with our choice, especially when we arrived at the first island and saw the number people that had been crammed onto the speedboat tours. The boat (boat no.2) was lovely and clean and health and safety was paramount. The crew on... More

We booked the tour with a one or two night overstay in the nationalpark. We were a bit skeptical but in the end we had a really really nice tour, although it rained most of the time. The lunch one the first day was like an all you can eat buffet. And because there were so much leftovers when we... More

We had a great day with Samui Island Tours. To start with we were very sceptical. We had (naively) thought as it was off season the trip would be quieter - how wrong we were - there were 126 people on our boat! We headed straight up to the sun deck and think a lot of people had the same... More

Kayaking and snorkelling sessions were fun and the marine life and scenery were beautiful. There is also time to relax on one of the beaches for a few hours which is really nice and there is a hike up to a viewpoint for incredible views. Lunch was brilliant - the best of all the tours we have been on! Only... More

The boat ride was approx 1.5hrs from samui which was pretty smooth ride with a couple of diff seating options including a sunbathing area. The hike to the green lagoon required some stamina to get up v steep stairs but the view was lovely - a beer at the bottom helped! Next stop was a truly arduous trek to the... More
