They are very friendly and the lady gave me an excellent Thai and Oil massage. She picked up all the tight areas and loosened the muscles. I highly recommend.

I found this place on a trip advisor forum for Chiang Mai. The lady gave it a excellent review so I though id check it out! I am so so glad I payed this place a visit. I can not tell you how amazing my massage was. It's located in a traditional Teak house right next to the Ping River, these ladies have over 20yrs experience & do not give you a quick little rub to make a few dollars. I only paid 250baht for a dry whole body massage that took about 1.20mins but you can also get herbal massage, oil massage, foot massage's and several other very relaxing treatments for next to nothing. So I can promise Suan Samoonprai is extremely good value! (250baht will get you a 15min shoulder rub at the markets)
My husband also joined me, he has multiple injuries and the ladies picked up on these are were very gentle in those areas. I also had quite a painful shoulder injury and after telling my masseur this she gave it extra attention, nearly 2mnths latter and its only starting to hurt again now!
when you enter you go upstairs to a large room & are on a mattress on the floor for the whole body massage, I think this is so they can work on you with their legs, it was so good. From my toes to my scalp they carefully got every muscle. If you like it harder I think from memory you say nuk nuk or bow bow for softer,
I also believe there are tables for back neck & shoulder massages.
This is not a fancy beauty spa, it is a simple but lovely traditional place where you will get you moneys worth 10fold. I can not recommend it enough. Hence having to spend the time creating a listing for this place so others can experience it and enjoy the benefits of a TRUE traditional thai massage.
The ladies were very nice, they made us feel welcome, and although the language barrier was difficult they made sure they understood what we wanted. They chatted with us & made sure we were comfortable at all times. They were happy ladies & the atmosphere was quiet happy and relaxed.
We caught a taxi here from our hotel. The driver gave them a quick call to get directions & we were on our way. He had no trouble finding the place.
If you get the chance you must check this place out, I promise you wont be disappointed.
