About
BY BIKERS FOR BIKERS Over the years, our passion for mountain biking has taken us and our bikes to the four corners of the planet, and then we came to realize that the trails on our doorstep are as good as anything we’ve ridden elsewhere. To share our bike trips in North-Thailand with like-minded people, we started Mojo Adventures. We have put together a selection of the best challenging single and multi-day all mountain rides to suit riders who already have some riding experience through to hard-core experienced riders who want nothing but the best trails. We have that rare and elusive perfect mix of Western and Thai knowledge so you get the best of both worlds. Don’t take our word for it though … come riding with us and experience firsthand our professionalism and the quality of our trips ! We have rides near Chiang Mai, Pai, Mae Wang and Chiang Rai, but we never lose our Mojo to explore new trails, so check back often for additions to our ride menu and dont hesitate to contact us

very late writing this but i never usually bother reviewing stuff!

a bit of background: had some holidays to use up so kind of threw a trip together very last minute. just looked online for tours, liked the sound of this one and mainly choose it on the basis of the quality of bikes - santa cruz, bronson which was brilliant. travelled by myself and joined an existing group.

went in late october just after the rainy season so the scenery was stunning vibrant green everywhere. the weather was hot (im from ireland) but not horribly scorching which was a worry for me as id not done much physical activity in thailand apart from sea based stuff.

the trails were great. more like epic days out on the bike exploring the wild rather than well ridden trail-center stuff. Damien and crew seemed to pride themselves on discovering their own trails and you didnt run into any other tour groups just the occasional locals when you went through a village or stopped for lunch. also judging by the reaction from locals to the bikes they didnt see many mountain bikers pass through. good mix of climbing and descending, not overly technical and some quite tight trail with a fair bit of foliage. through some woods, across paddy fields and a bit of rough fire-road. probably a mix of skill and fitness levels in the group but never felt like you were dragging behind or being held up by others. was 7 riders in the group and had two hilux type vehicles, with drivers, that brought us to the trail-head and met us at the end (with a cooler of beers!). the commute itself was a good way to see some of the countryside. accommodation both nights was spot on. first night in a national park which had a hot spring and second night in Pai in a swish bungalow i like so much that i cancelled where i was booked into and stayed there instead when i went back to Pai after the tour.

sound bunch of people. felt more like going on a spin with a bunch of mates rather than an overly organised tour group. that said the trails were remote enough that you'd be lost pretty quick if you didnt have a guide. always like when its professional enough to inspire confidence but relaxed enough not to stifle any fun. get the impression they'd tailor a trip to suit you perfectly.

would defo recommend these guys!

When you have the best bikes, guide and trails to explore in Northern Thailand, your in for a great MTB trip! Damo's 15yrs experience in the area, researching, exploring, finding the best tracks, certainly shows. His enthusiasm is infectious and level of service 1st class. I highly recommend MOJO Adventures for people of all skill levels, as Damo will cater a trip to meet your specific needs. Cheers again mate and I'll be booking another trip soon!

Not without a whiff of trepidation does one book a three day 'Pai Challenge' in the height of the Thai wet season but seeing as this was my only free window I took the gamble..
Damian & crew put together an outstanding adventure for our group in logistically challenging conditions. Rain, mud & a few hike a bike sections added to the adventure interspersed with picture postcard views of lush rice terraces in hidden amongst the valleys...
Having a knowledgeable bike guide with the right character both with the clients and the locals is a must in this area, doing it yourself just isn't an option.
From the get go Damian's extensive research yielded some amazing amazing single track routes with just the right ratio of climb to descend (especially at the end of each day!) so craved by seasoned mountain bikers. -From the reaction of the few villagers we passed it was abundantly clear the routes see little in the way of tourist traffic.
Overnights & food stops en-route were well thought out & friendly, particularly the overnight in Pai Village which warrants another visit with or without bike.
Great value for money, already planning the next Mojo trip!

I’m a repeat customer and I would confidently reccomend this company to anyone who enjoys mountain biking and wants to have an enjoyable adventure.

GREAT GUIDES - organized, great riders who tailor the pace and duration of the trip to make sure you have a great day. They have also given me some great tips over the years that have helped to propel me into enduro riding and make me feel confident.

GREAT TRAILS - these guys have invested many days on google, hiking and riding to find, fine tune and map the very best trails you could possibly ride, without exception, in Thailand.

GREAT EXPERIENCE - I’ve ended every trip feeling pumped and happy. These guys help you interpret what is happening in villages you pass, show you some awesome and delicious food and you end every trip feeling your senses have been recharged.

Trips done over the past few years:
-3 day Mae Wang
-3 day Pai
-One day trip to Mae Wang

Well worth making the trip to Chiang Mai from Thailand, Asia or anywhere else in the world to ride with them. You’ll create some memories you’ll never forget and no doubt be back for more. Happy riding.

Got my Mojo back with this crew!!! I've mountain biked in China, Mongolia and the Philippines but Damian and the Chang Mai Mojo crew deliver the goods on the 3 day Pai Challenge. If this isn't on your bucket list, it should be. Good times all 'round.

It's hard to find MTB guides in Asia who can offer you the level of service Damian provides. Too many offer either a sanitised version of real mountain biking, or in Chiang Mai's case, only provide a DH uplift service. Mojo provided us with a really nice balance of challenging riding, relaxing down time, some cultural experience and above all, a sense of adventure. I'm sure Damian can tailor trips to all abilities and meet your expectations, whatever the fitness level. The value for money was excellent and the service beyond expectation. A truly memorable experience!

Fantastic experience riding the 3 day Pai challenge with Damian from Mojo Adventures in Feb 2016. This is a real mountainbiking adventure; great trails that take you through the Karen Hill tribe villages and good scenery. Damian provides excellent Santa Cruz full suspension bikes - and you need this quality to be able to confidently ride & enjoy these great trails. There are challenging short sections but mostly really enjoyable single track with many ups and downs, and some great long downhills that are so much fun. Some brilliant flowing singletrack through valleys at the end that gets the adrenalin up. Accommodation was good, meals great - Damian is a very good MTB guide and knows the area well, you could not make a better choice. Highly recommended and I'll be back for more....

I joined the 4 days in Chiangrai trip and had a great time! Mojo Adventures did a very good job of organizing this, ensuring we would have the best time possible. Each day had something different to offer: Scenic views, tough climbs, fun downhills, rolling hills, ... The trails were tough due to the elevation but not really technical.
Hotels were nice, food was very good.
Also worth noting: Their prices include pretty much everything you might need. Food, drinks, transport to the trails, ... For the whole time I was with Mojo Adventures, I did not spend a single baht.
I will definitely come back for another trip.

I'm a repeat customer of Mojo from whenever I want to hit some Northern Thailand trails. They never fail to make it a memorable event - amazing trails, raw and natural, remote hilltribe villages deep in the mountains.
The riding is well tuned for the abilities of the riders, but this is not for novices, you should be an experienced rider to make the most of this.
This time was the Pai 3 day trip - which is challenging but ultimately rewarding. Accommodation was of a high standard, and the guide and support tea were great to spend time with in the transfers.
Trails on this trip require decent fitness, as there is a lot of up and down, along with good bike skills. If you tick those boxes, this trip and tour company comes highly recommended.
