We reached this wat during our walking tour of the old city. It is located in the centre of the old town and there was no admission fee. There were no other visitor and was quite and peaceful. The compound was beautiful and there were a number of buildings there. This comprised of a viharn with several Buddha image, of which one was larger. Besides this, there was a library building. The chedi had statues of elephants at its four corners. Next to the viharn was the wooden ordination hall which was locked.

I visited this temple and I was so impressed with cultural history offered by our hotel tour. Check if you hotel offers something similar, if not, don’t worry because you can walk in to any of the many 300+ temples in the old city. Someone will shout when you wander off somewhere restricted.😁 This temple means lucky and if blessed here by the monk, fogs fortunes will come your way. 🤞 There are souvenirs and donations box everywhere at your discretion. Either way it is a cheap day out.

I love the peace and calmness in the buddhist temples. Visited this one and it was another good visit as well. Monks praying and meditating, just peaceful in every bit.

We visited this morning and brought a gift of foods as alms for the monks. In return we received their blessing. Small and compact, but worth a visit.
