We had Jack as our guide for 3 days in Chiangmai.
On day 1 we went to Doi Inthanon National Park-the best place to be with nature!
On day 2 we went to an elephant sanctuary park and the Karen Long Neck Hill tribe and Poo Poo Paper place (which was originally unplanned but when my daughter said she wanted to see elephants, he made it happen on a last minute notice)
On day 3 we went to DOI Suthep, Wat palat temple and the Sunday night market.
It was the best decision to have Jack with us. He was very friendly and easy going.
My kids really liked him too, especially my daughter.
He was sincere, punctual, gave a bit of history (so we could appreciate the sights more), introduced us to some great Thai food, and he had a great attitude the whole time! He felt like a friend, not just a tour guide!
He even picked us up for lunch and the airport on our last day (completely unplanned) because he had some free time!
Honestly, I could not have asked for a better person to show us around Chiangmai.

We spent two fabulous days with Jack during our visit to Chiang Mai. If you are looking for a guide or driver, look no further...hire Jack. He is an absolute gem.
For our first day, we drove the couple of hours to Doi Inthanon in Jack's super-comfortable and spacious van. We hiked in the beautiful park with a local guide for a couple of hours, and visited the King and Queen pagodas. We also went to a beautiful waterfall. Perhaps the highlight of the day, though, was the lunch we had with Jack's friend Mr Charlie and his wife. They graciously welcomed us into their beautiful bamboo home in a small hill village, and made us lunch from delicious fresh vegetables picked that morning from the farm where they grow crops for The Royal Project. They were such lovely people and it was an incredible experience...do not miss this if you have the opportunity.
The second day Jack picked us up early to drive to Doi Suthep before sunrise. I highly recommend this. The temple is beautiful in daylight, but simply breathtaking before dawn. It is still pretty quiet there at that time of day, and watching the sun come up over the city was lovely. We then visited two other lovely temples (Wat Phalat and Wat Umong) before wrapping up with delicious Khao Soi at a local restaurant. Try not to eat anything for breakfast and hold out for this delicious (and filling) meal.
Jack is patient, relaxedand flexible. He has a great smile and an infectious laugh. When we return to Chiang Mai we won't hesitate to book more time with him. Sabai sabai Jack...until next time!

We arrange a day tour with Jack to Change Rai, we had such a great day we then booked for the following day to do a sunrise visit to doi suthep, the jungle temple and the tunnel temple. Jack is a great guide and knows how to give you just enough details about what you want to know. He also introduced us to the best coffee in Chiang Mia. I would recommend Jack to anyone visiting the area

Jack is very accommodating and easy to talk to. I booked last minute and he responded quickly to my inquiry. He was able to make an itinerary that was kid-friendly, as I was with my toddler during the tour. It was very personalized and met my specific needs.

He is also a good storyteller. Not only did he explain the history of the temples we visited, but he also told us about life in Chiang Mai in general, and his personal experiences as well.

Jack is very helpful in many ways. He helped me with carrying my kid’s stroller as some parts of the temples do not have ramps. He also helped me in suggesting what to do after the tour (which areas we can visit since our time was limited). And lastly, he helped me make our short stay in Chiang Mai very memorable.

Highly recommended!

Jack is the kindest and warmest person we could have ever asked for as a guide. After experiencing other private tours, his was by far the one I liked the most. He created a tour based on our needs. For two days we visited Sukhotai, had some wonderful temple tops on the way and even managed to visit Sanchanalai before heading to the airport the day after.

If you are looking for an adaptable and understanding your guide, this is your place. We went to see the sites we were interested in, and got to eat amazing food based on his recommendations (local Thai food, not westernised versions). On top of that, he was kind enough to take pictures of us with our phones and his camera.

Overall, these two days were a memorable experience making a new friend who I would wholeheartedly recommend for anyone looking for a knowledgeable guide, with great humour and very kind human nature.

We went on a tour with Jack to Doi Inthanon, stopping at a couple of beautiful places a long the way.

Jack is very friendly and it was so much fun to converse with him about this and that while learning many things about the area and the places we would visit.

His car is super comfortable and he is a considerate driver, making us feel safe throughout the whole trip.

Overall we had a fantastic day - thank you Jack!

Jack enriched our experience by being super friendly, flexible and knowledgeable. His English is impeccable, and he added a great deal of detail to our tour. I can’t recommend enough! Such a lovely find for us. He took us to the temple, and knew a great deal about it. He was great with our sons, aged 7 and 14, made them laugh and feel involved. We went to eat at a local Thai restaurant that he recommended, it had a Michelin Star for the dish we were served. All 4 of us ate for 350 baht and it was divine! He then took us to the sticky rice falls, which was a ton of fun. We were with him from 7am-5pm, and he was on for the duration. If you want a private driver, you will not find a better experience. Thanks Jack!!!

Jack is an experienced tourguide who is very motivated to give you the best tour experience in Chiang Mai!

We went on a full day tour to Doi Ithanon National Park, where we did a beautiful hike, saw the King & Queen Pagoda, one of the most beautiful waterfalls I've seen and a local market.

Jack is very flexible, happy to customize tours and itineraries.
Communication with him is very clear, via email or whatsapp, and he speaks very well English.

The Thai tourism industry is very slowly recovering from the Covid crisis, and I encourage everybody to do book tours at guides like Jack because nowhere in the world you get such quality for your buck, and they deserve your business.

Whenever I return to Chiang Mai I would tour with Jack again! ***** 5 stars!

Jack is a very passionate, professional, patient and friendly person. His tour was very flexib and we feel like we were travelling with a friend. We agreed on the itinerary before arrival but we also changed a few things based on how we feel during the trip. He recommended local foods and experiences in Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai and made sure that we enjoy our time, sabai sabai as what he always like to say. Highly recommended for adventurous and adaptable travellers who love to discover nature, food and culture.

Jack is simply one of the best guides I have had in my travels in Southeast Asia. He is so warm and welcoming and ready to laugh. My partner and I travelled to Sukhothai without many plans in advance. Jack had not been there in a few years but was fantastic at working things out as we go - taking us to some less well known spots and finding some of the best food in the area too. We spent one night in Sukhothai, then flew out of Sukhothai airport (recommended!). Jack looked after us well for the entire trip and we managed to pack so much in, while still feeling relaxed and not pushed for time. He really enjoys photography as a hobby too, so don't worry about getting some good snaps. We also visited Satchanali on the way to the airport, which I definitely recommend visiting - I actually preferred it to Sukhothai. Jack definitely deserves to be supported during the difficult post-covid recovery period. You won't find a better person in Chiang Mai!
