I traveled to various cities of Thailand and Cambodia for 4 weeks in Feb-March 2016, visiting mostly Buddhist temples. Note that I'm not a Buddhist, I just appreciate the beautiful architecture of the temples and enjoy watching the visitors and monks praying at these temples....More

This temple was a bit unique with the larger green Buda and other ornate decorations. As in all the temples, a very peaceful place to be respectful.

It's easy to overdose on temples in Thailand, but this was one of my favorites. It had more life to it than many. It was serene, but with some underlying feeling of liveliness. I was staying nearby, so I stopped in more than once.

Old temple with more careful restoration than most.worth a look inside and careful examination of the artwork around the walls and on the doors. Grounds are small and flowers in the trees are fake but look great and are much photographed.

Although it is easy to become overdosed on temples in Chinag Mai simply because of the number of them, the main sanctuary here has an above average display with many glass or crystal figurines below the central statue. The grounds are well kept, the toilets...More
