Charming, cozy temple. Late afternoon (approx. 4pm) chatted with one of the monks and followed him and other monks into the shrine for a moving chant. Contemporary illumination of the Buddha statues inside the shrine. Small, neighborhood temple, but welcoming and powerful.

I like coming here to relax, letting mysefl get mesmerized by the changing colors on the main Buddha, which I find quite peaceful. Either before or after, I might stop to eat in either Bodhi Tree Cafe across the way or Taste From Heaven or...More

Lovely Wat within the walls of the old city. Very clean, beautiful landscaping & peaceful. The lights on the Buddha statue change colors, haven't seen that before. They also offer massage & monk chats.

All the Wats in Chiang Mai were fantastic! Remember to be respectful, cover shoulders and legs when entering and take off your shoes. Your feet should not point directly at the Buddah, but I must confess I got so distracted by the beauty and architecture...More
