We were the only family (7 of us) being received at this facility, the guide was knowledgeable and the staff members were friendly and cheerful. We felt the elephants were just as relaxed. They also rescued a mother buffalo who was about to be slaughtered...More

Our experience does not correspond to the photographies you can see. It was in an other place, maybe due to the lower touristic season. However everything was perfect ! We were only two with four wonderful elephants (including two babies) which seem to be very...More

Amazing animals, nice people and had a blast. Got to ride one of them elephants and feed them. I would definitely visit this place again, it was kinda far from Chiang Mai but worth it! Bring water, repellent. Feed, ride or bath the elephants!

This was my favourite experience of the entire trip. Learning about the elephants, making food for them then feeding them. Giving them a mud bath. Then finally washing them off in the river and swimming with them. From start to finish the entire experience was...More

We chose Elephant Carer Home based on the tripadvisor reviews, the fact that it wasn't too far from Chiang Mai centre (1 hour drive, in a minivan), and the fact that they also offered half-day tours (important for us as we had two children, aged...More

I'm 69 so I was a little nervous and also concerned that 1/2 a day would be too little time, but it was a great trip. the elephants are as gentle as they appear in the pictures and the trainers watch out for the visitors....More

We had an awesome experience here! We did the full-day no riding program, and it ended up just being the two of us at the sanctuary. We got to feed, pet, and bathe the elephants, and had a fantastic homemade lunch prepared by the owner's...More

Sorry I just saw this. Anywhere you go in Thailand just look for the best price asking around. Prices vary depending on season really. Have fun!

I think you need to ask them directly. I saw about 5 adult female elephants that tourists can interact with. The male is in a pen and the babies are there too. The van could could hold about 5 adults. I think they have... More
