- Maogao109 contributionsA Great Place to Visit and ChillI really like this mall. It's a nice break from the heat and frenetic pace of the city. It's clean and easy to get around in. We go for the variety of international restaurants. I have included the mall in my blog "My 5 Favorite Things to Do in Chiang Mai."Visited December 2022Traveled as a coupleWritten November 16, 2023
- St. CapriYokohama, Japan13 contributionsConvenient & attractiveThis is a shopping mall with lots of shops, restaurants, and even supermarket. Especially you can make a choice from various Thai foods in its food court. Please note that only prepaid card is allowed for the payment in the food court. You can get a prepaid card and charge money at the information counter at the entrance of the food court.Visited December 2023Traveled soloWritten December 13, 2023
- contaakt33Honolulu, Hawaii205 contributionsMaya Lifestyle Shopping Mall, Chiang Mai, ThailandMaya Lifestyle Shopping Mall is definitely the modern popping counterpart to old city Chiang Mai. It’s luxurious and higher on the price scale. It’s clean, fresh, and upbeat. It fits more the young hip crowd. Lots and lots of food options. Though they don’t match the quality of the food stalls in the Old City. At rush hour the traffic is notoriously congested. If you’re taking Grab, I’d walk up one of the main streets to be able to catch the Grab transport faster.Visited July 2024Traveled with friendsWritten July 23, 2024

A few more photos and reviews from Chiang Mai, Thailand.
The MAYA shopping center was one of our favorite places to buy food and eat at the vegetarian stall. Now, the Im Jai - Veg Food Stall serves the vegan food only. Based on the past experience, we came early enough, and had the best vegan food selection.

A beautiful multi-storey shopping mall. There is a large store with a shop in shop concept on the ground floor. Then there are many shops and stores on the floors that can meet all your needs. There are also restaurants where you can eat gourmet food from small establishments to suit every taste. The shopping center also provides wifi for free. A very clean and well-kept place. The cleanliness of the toilets is incredibly good. 👍

I really liked this shopping mall a little far from the Old City... great concentration of local youth. I loved the coworking space - very well set up and widely used by local students. Some interesting shops and lots of bars and restaurants

You can get almost anything Thai or Chinese or Japanese that you want at the Maya Mall's food stalls in the basement, including moshi ice cream, baguettes (Thai -- it appears so), Peking duck, sort of, a wonderful selection of organic veggie dishes where they use only olive oil (try the chive and horseradish cakes!), Japanese cheesecake made in Australia. Prices are unbelieveably low. Eat in or take-away. Ambiance is not romantic, but it's fun. While you're at it, visit Rinping Supermarket at one end of the hall. It has everything else you need, or didn't know you wanted.

This is the main shopping mall at Chiang Mai's hip western neighborhood. Maya is the typical global mall with famous brands and restaurant chains. The supermarket and food court underground are great for a clean, modest meal and souvenir shopping.

After 3 years of Covid, managed to travel Chiangmai by budget air only. Still a wonderful & nice place to venture . Took a taxi from hotel to all shopping area. Will travel again next year

there is a grocery store "Rimping" in the basement which is decent. at lunch there are some good food court items on the 4th floor. especially the chicken guy. On the bottom level I loved the vegan burritos with hummus. Yummy.

One more thing many hotels provide free shuttle service to Maya, but not on the way back. Make sure you enquire, as they do not publicise it. Make sure you use Grab taxis as well as it's an incredible service and really takes the stress out of transportation in Thailand. Perfect affordable service door to door.
