The mall has six floors, with many stores selling non brand name and brand name as Lacoste, Sketcher etc...
Its food court is on 4th Fl, lot of yummy food stalls and the price are cheap, surrounding with many restaurants cater for all you want to eat.
Down the basement is another food court and Rimping supermarket with its restaurant, two bakeries, couple Thai sweet stalls.
Great place to visit and relaxing if you are in the area

We stopped at the Maya mall on our way back to Chiangmai city centre (area) from the Wat Prathat Doi Suthep, with the intention of grabbing some lunch. It turned out to be a very good choice as the food court area has so many delicious options and also a dessert section too.
It’s quite nice, they have these little stools and you can sit around the stall where you buy your meal from. Quite a nice set up. There are also other restaurant options such as the popular Japanese COCO Ichibanya.
I also found a nice bubble tea spot here which is was called Fresh Me, and they had a nice brown sugar bubble tea - yum.

Friends
We just returned from this Mall a few minutes ago and are still congratulating ourselves on our luck to have gone there . We went shopping in the neighborhood and enjoyed it very much but then could not find Papaya salad anywhere and decided to look in the Mall. Sounds crazy ? Well in Europe & UK high end malls often have terrific food courts . Maya did too.
We saw everything from KFC to street venders . We found our papaya salad too which was made fresh right before our eyes so we could ask for no hot pepper ! For 2 USD each . Delicious.
We wandered around and bought Thai local Indigo handbags and Thai perfume. We enjoyed seeing all the local items in pleasant AC and on smooth floor walking surface . There is plenty of Western brand shopping too. Ice cream ! Many sales people spoke a little English too .

A few more photos and reviews from Chiang Mai, Thailand.
The MAYA shopping center was one of our favorite places to buy food and eat at the vegetarian stall. Now, the Im Jai - Veg Food Stall serves the vegan food only. Based on the past experience, we came early enough, and had the best vegan food selection.

You can get almost anything Thai or Chinese or Japanese that you want at the Maya Mall's food stalls in the basement, including moshi ice cream, baguettes (Thai -- it appears so), Peking duck, sort of, a wonderful selection of organic veggie dishes where they use only olive oil (try the chive and horseradish cakes!), Japanese cheesecake made in Australia. Prices are unbelieveably low. Eat in or take-away. Ambiance is not romantic, but it's fun. While you're at it, visit Rinping Supermarket at one end of the hall. It has everything else you need, or didn't know you wanted.

there is a grocery store "Rimping" in the basement which is decent. at lunch there are some good food court items on the 4th floor. especially the chicken guy. On the bottom level I loved the vegan burritos with hummus. Yummy.

My favorite hang out mall in Chiang mai.
The BBQ buffet restraunt is really delicious, about 299 THB. (with drinks included ). I also love the cinemas and i usually watch my movies here. For Wednesday is movie day and you would pay only 100 THB.
There is a game center on the same level cinema and teenagers would hang out here for dance games, shooting games or arcade games. There is also a mini karaoke booth but all Thai songs. Songs are not updated and are old songs.
A short walk ~ 10 minutess walk to Niman , to the pubs/clubs/coffee shops..
I would prefer Maya compared to Central Festival because Central is located on the Super Highway and not convenient.

Thai and International stores.Good range of eateries.
You can walk from Kad Suan Kaew Shopping Mall.15 to 20 mins
It also on the start of Nimmanhaemin Road.
So very central to main shopping and eating in this area of Chiang Mai.

The Chiang Mai City Buses pass by the mall every 10 minutes. You can track the buses in real time with your smart phone. You can pay the 20 baht fare with your Bangkok rabbit card. The air conditioned bus saved me from the 100F May heat.

Honestly, we just wanted to save ourselves from the heat. And it's great that Maya is easily accessible, and it's everything we're familiar with. Also, when it was time to go back to our hotel, helpful and pretty Marina (at Information/Concierge) called Grab (not Uber). We were staying on the opposite side of town, by Chiang Mai Gate. Grab was cheaper than riding the Red Truck---it's also air-conditioned!

One more thing many hotels provide free shuttle service to Maya, but not on the way back. Make sure you enquire, as they do not publicise it. Make sure you use Grab taxis as well as it's an incredible service and really takes the stress out of transportation in Thailand. Perfect affordable service door to door.
