Living in Chiang Mai I needed to get some shirts made and a new suit. I had walked around the many soi's looking at the numerous tailors and their offerings. I had often walked past the Fashion King shop and so after seeing feedback online I took the walk up the road to Frank's establishment. Right from the onset he and his wife were welcoming and invited me to join them for Indian afternoon tea, after which we discussed my requirements and got the material chosen and the measurements taken. Frank advised I should return in a a weeks' time for suit fitment and then later for final product and fitting, and collection. I have to say Frank certainly knows his trade well and I was able to choose (with his guidance) materials for the suit and extra trousers and two shirts and a waistcoat. I chose to be bold with the waistcoat going for a multi-coloured one - not boring Grey or Black. Fitting went very well and oh more sweet treats, too. I returned a few days later to collect my garments, they fit well, and the smile on my face demonstrated good workmanship and fine details. Thank you to Frank and Vanita for providing such a great atmosphere and the emperors new clothes :)

I am very pleased with the cut and quality of the shirts, jacket, pant and suits custom tailored for me by Fashion King Chiang Mai. Frank and Vanita have excellent taste and a skilled team of tailors supporting them. I appreciate the attention to detail and thoughtful touches that make for a superb product: consistent pattern matching, reenforced waistline with double lock for a non-slip flat front, fully lined pants to mid length, hidden security jacket pocket, fine stitching and piping. Just one fitting resulted in a perfect fit and Frank and Vanita’s warm hospitality, delicious samosas, and endless supply of chai and good conversation made for a wonderful experience. This was a real highlight of our trip! Highly recommend.

I came upon Fashion King, by reading positive reviews about the place. I had been in Chiang Mai for a few months and noticed many tailors .The positive reviews are correct. I hit the jackpot here!! The craftsmanship is superb, the attention to detail, the fittings to make sure the outfit is exactly what the clients want, and the selection of fine imported material is superb. The price is affordable for elegant custom made garments. They have many clients locally and from Abroad who come here for business suits. In my case, I have had several work skirts and shirts made for my new job here. I am also having some dresses made. Most of all, as other reviews have said, the owners are friendly, down to earth people who love their clients and are very very hospitable. Many of us drop by for a chat and to experience their warmth and care as well as have clothes made. There is not a lot of this in the world anymore!! I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for clothes that impress and an overall fantastic experience.
