A family run cooking class established in 2001. We began with a small class size. Even though our business has seen tremendous growth, we have decided that this size maintains the personalization and individual attention that each student deserves. Yui (Siripen Sriyabhaya), Thailand's international TV chef still teaches every dish in every class to guarantee the highest quality of instruction. Her expertise attracts a variety of students such as, TV chefs, executive chefs, culinary school teachers, international Thai cooking instructors, food columnists, cookbook authors, tourists, and food lovers.Yui's unique blend of art and science truly make cooking exciting, fun, and easy to follow. When students cook these delicious dishes in class, they are equipped with the skills and knowledge to be able to recreate these dishes at home.

Did the half-day class---it was fantastic. I learned more about the Thai and Chiang Mai culture in those 3 hours then in the rest of my 8 days in Thailand combined. She spoke perfect English, was funny and engaging, and a great instructor. We cooked a set of 4 dishes (Pad Thai, Tom Yum Soup, Curry, and something else). It... More

This is THE best class to take if you are interested in learning to cook Thai food. If you're a foodie, I would especially recommend the Wednesday class, which features khao soi and other slightly offbeat Thai dishes that you will not find served in many restaurants abroad. I could gush about Yui, the proprietor and sole instructor, but you're... More

We knew months in advanced that we wanted to do a cooking class. After research this seemed the best. Make sure you book in advanced if there are specific dates you want!!! We signed up for a half day thinking it would be enough but extended in the middle of the day because it was so fun!! Very educational and... More

This was a big highlight of our trip to Chaing Mai. We were picked up on time in the camper, then went to Yui's home to start the class. There were ten of us in all, each with our own station for cooking. We had a masterclass before giving it a go ourselves and it was the best food we... More

After having signed up for a half course, we arrived at Yui's home and realized we wanted to extend to the full course after only the first plate! Yui is welcoming, knowledgeable, and passionate about all things Thai! The amenities at her home are top notch and we had plenty of time to enjoy our meal after cooking it. Half... More

A lot of Thai is a wonderful way to learn about Thai cooking and to enjoy the foods you cook yourself. Yui is very relaxed and knowledgeable and a natural teacher. We ranged from age 10 up to 70 in our small class and we all came away with a great experience. The location is comfortable and beautiful, too.

This was such an awesome experience. My husband and I were in class with another family who were a blast. The environment is welcoming and Yui is so knowledgeable. She made the dish first so we could get a taste then set out on our own. The market tour was cool and she introduced me to the best lime shake... More

This was our first time doing this particular cooking class, upon recommendation by another family of our group that had been before and had enjoyed the experience. We did it as a group of 11, consisting of a fairly even split of adults and teenagers. Everyone throughly enjoyed the food cooked, and Yui was so very knowledgable in sharing many... More

This is the second time we have visited Yui and Kwan to do their cooking school - eight years apart. Yui is very knowledgeable with a well developed menu and is experienced in dealing with groups that have a wide range of cooking skills - chef through to novice. We had a private group class for 11 with 6 adults... More

We took this class while in Chiang Mai, and our only regret is taking the short course versus the full-day. Chef Yui runs an intimate class - you'll never be in a group larger than 10 or so. There is ample time to talk to her one on one, and she makes you feel like you're cooking in a friend's... More
