Chatting with Phra KK
Jul 2021 • Friends
It was one of the best experiences I've had in Thailand!!! The monk Phra KK taught me so much about thai culture, buddhism, monk's way of living, Chiang Mai's history and fun facts about temples. He also answered all of my questions thoroughly and was REALLY kind to us. Everyone should visit this temple and have a monk chat with him, you won't regret it, promise!!

Incredible experience. An Absolute must to do !!
Jun 2021
One of the best experience I had during my 4 months stay in Thailand. Phra KK is an amazing Monk explaining so well all relating to Buddhism. He answered all our questions even naive questions from my kids. He really took his time to show us the temple and give us a bit of history. He taught us different kind of meditation and few were really adapted to kids. He is so kind and generous with his time and knowledge. I felt a bit wiser at the end and I am so grateful for this incredible experience. It's free but we were more than happy to donate for the orphans.

Magical chat with Phra KK
Mar 2021 • Solo
Meeting and listening to Phra KK was the absolute highlight of my weeks-stay in Chiang Mai. Happily wearing mask, along with the best eyes’ smile, I spent hours listening to his deep wisdom and endless kindness.
After ‘flirting’ with Buddhism-inspired Thai spirituality for decades, I finally was given the keys to start the “Middle Path”.

Phra KK is the kindest man, an excellent communicator, speaking impeccable English, understanding our “Western” limitations and standards, allowing us to make the jump into their millennium-long philosophy & practices easier.
I couldn’t have wished for a better introduction.
Best time spent in Chiang Mai was without the shadow of a doubt with Phra KK.
I am so happy, and really hope to be back soon if I am welcome 🙏

Many many thanks Phra KK!

Unique Opportunity to Experience and Learn About Buddhism
Feb 2020
Our tour group spent part of a morning exploring and experiencing some of which this unique institution has to offer. Walking the grounds and listening to the chanting of the monks is certainly a grand opportunity to enjoy Thai culture and Buddhist teachings.
They offer retreats for those who are interested in gaining more experience and knowledge.

Just completed the 1-day mediation with Phra KK. It was such a wonderful experience. He is super easy to understand, kind and a great teacher. He teaches Buddhist principals, mediation techniques and everything in between. He answers all questions on being a monk. I would receive omens it to anyone, such a great day!

Very nice intro on Buddhism and meditation and it’s free
Jan 2020 • Solo
I actually went on the one day retreat rather than the monk talk. The monk who taught the one day retreat speaks very good English and is so humorous. He was able to deliver serious topics like Buddhist philosophy and Buddhism history in a way that’s entertaining but also educational. I actually went on a 3-day retreat in Taiwan before but still found this one helpful because it’s a very comprehensive review of the main meditation techniques and Buddhist teachings.

1 DAY MEDITATION
Jan 2020 • Family
We didn't know what more to do in Chiang Mai and found out about this option. The monk is really nice and smart and teaches you basics about buddhism and the importance of meditation. We did it on Friday, January 3 and it was a great start of the new year. The course itself was free, but we all donated to the orphanage the temple works with. I myslef have anxiety and he talked about it so I'll try meditating every day. That's my new years resolution haha. Definitely a great experience.

Beautiful rewarding day away from the tourist traps
Jan 2020
We took part in the 1-day meditation retreat yesterday, and had a great experience. Phra KK is a lovely teacher, clear and articulate and witty, and lots of humour too. We experienced seated and walking meditation, and some easy concentration exercises with hand movements.
Even if we already have quite some meditation experience and the lecture on the basics of Buddhism was as such not new to us, it was an excellent reminder, we appreciated it a lot.
The day ended with an optional lie-down gong bath - amazing, we were "knocked out" by it in a positive way and were in bed by 8pm and slept solid for 11 hours!
Highly recommended as an alternative to hanging out in the touristic areas of the old town - as Phra KK said, do this to take something good with you from Thailand.

Excellent for a quick nirvana
Dec 2019
Better than popping mushrooms. Better than smoking Ayahusca with Native Americans. Better than dropping LSD on a boat in a lake in the mountains. Better than anything you will imagine.
