We followed the thai cooking class on christmas day. Since it was just the both of us, we had a private class with the experienced, professional, handson and lovely, good laughing xie in the quite, relaxing area of her parents home. 5 different meals were cooked with fresh ingredients and were well explained by xie. Afterwards, we got her self written handbook to make the dishes at home. Highly recommended

Booked for two the night before and because there were just both of us we had a private cooking class with lovely Xie! It was the best day of our journey. We were picked up at our hotel and after a visit at a local market we cooked five delicious meals at the house of her parents. It’s so beautiful out there and there are so many fresh in the garden which were explained by Xie! She loves to answer all our questions and it was the best food during our Thailand Journey! We hope it will be as delicious as there is we cook it at home.

We had an awesome day, so much delicious food and so much fun. The English was excellent and communication was no problem at all. We had the impression that the teacher has a lot of knowledge about ingredients, food, herbs and the perfect passion to cook and to teach others. She picked us up at the hotel in the morning, we visited a local market where we learned a lot about rice, herbs, vegetables etc and she brought us back in the afternoon. Her place is located outside of the busy city. A very relaxing and enjoyable area. Time was passing by so quickly, we learned a lot and we are looking forward to use the knowledge back home. We are more than grateful to have spent the day at me and mom Cooking. 😍👌

Compared to other cocking schools we visited this was unfortunately under par. We were the only ones there which was good I suppose. But the vibe was a little bit creepy. Zee the teacher was ok. The food wasn’t too bad. My better half complained of belly trouble later on in the evening. It’s quite far out of town to get there and I would say it’s not worth it as you can find better in the town center area for cheaper.

Was a bit of a waste of money and miles away from the town Centre. The Thai food was just run of the mill stuff, nothing special. Hygiene levels were not the best, especially when we are talking about cooking food. It was quite a big group and the teacher (forgot her name) looked like she could not handle and help everyone. There was another lady there but she didn’t talk much and when I asked a question, sorry but I didn’t understand what she was saying. I wouldn’t really recommend. The school I went to before, last week was far superior in every way.

Host was more interested in asking us for a good review rather than actually teaching us something. Which acounts for so many 5 star reviews.
The food I created was actually not too bad and ill give it a try when home but i wasnt blown away by the food for the price. Seemed a bit steep for what was actually on offer. Hygene wasnt high on the list either.
Theres plenty better places than this.

My 3rd time to visit Thailand I always love to do the cooking class. Before I do in Bangkok and Hua Hin. Travelled to Chiang Mai and gave M&M a go. Nothing special. The place is quite a bit away out of the town. Was picked up by a grumpy old Thai man who wasnt very polite and welcoming. Arrived at the location and was presented by a run down residential area.
The cooking instructor was OK demonstarting very basic recipes which i could have learned quite easily from youtube. O love thai food but whay i made didnt quite taste right, maybe it was my cooking haha.
Long story short I went to other places after this one more centrtally located in Chiang Mai centre where its more convenient and the classes were far superior in proper premises not an old shed at the back of someones old house.

We recently had our cooking class with Xie. We chose her based on recommendation from friends who attended her class earlier this year.
Xie was very helpful and open to adjust the meals based on our allergies and diets. After cooking the meals we could try and even take the leftovers home.
We definitely recommend this cooking class!

We booked our cooking class two days in advance. I have choosen it due to small group sizes and we have joined only the two of us, so it will was actually a private class. We had lots of Fun, learned much and ate a lot. We were together at the market, in their own garden and we chose 5 different dishes. We cooked so much that we even took huge portions with us for dinner. I did already a lot cooking classes all over the world, this was one of my favourites. We got even a small recepie book with us. Learned a lot and loved it. Totally recommened it. Was really fun.

My boyfriend and I have just returned for a cooking class with Xie and what an excellent day we’ve had. We were picked up and joined another couple before getting taken to a local market. Here Xie explained about the various ingredients we would be using. We then were taken to her mothers’ house in the countryside and shown various herbs and plants in their garden. The food we made was truly delicious and she explained everything so clearly. After lunch we were able to rest a little before making the final courses. In total we made 5 dishes each and had to take some home we were so full. And we were even given a recipe book to recreate the dishes when back at home.
Definitely would recommend, such a lovely small group hands on session.
