Scandy is the only place we go in Thailand to get suits made! We go to Chaing Mai every time we're in Thailand to buy my husband's suits at Scandy. Great prices for better quality than you'll find in the US. Lovely, premium fablic. Highly recommend! We do the fitting, and they ship back to the US for us. You won't be disappointed!!

I've been to Chiang Mai a month ago and I would like to point out this Tailor out.
Fantastic place with and the only one who could make the suits I wanted for my brothers wedding.
The Owner is very friendly and helpful with a relaxing atmosphere, patient and speaks good English.
He made me two Suits of great quality for a very good price. the 2 suits weren't so simple to make a lot of decorations on them and finding the matching colors. Paul was great at doing that and creating these masterpieces.
I was so satisfied with the suits that when I returned home I ordered a third suit.
I would like to thank Paul for al the patients and the help
If you are looking to make a suit according to your measurements this is the place to do it not only in Chiang Mai but in all of Thailand!!!

After writing a review praising Scandy's excellent service, I unfortunately have to retract my previous review and give Scandy its first negative review. I made one pair of khakis and one pair of black pants here July 1. On July 7, on my first day at work, I was sitting in training when I noticed that a seam on the inside of my lower leg of my khakis had split. When I got back home and took off the pants, I noticed another split seam on the seat of my pants. I hope no one at work noticed! I won't go into the positives since there are over 90 five-star reviews for you to read, but needless to say I won't go back here again.

I first walked into the Scandy Collection shop in July 2013, and right away I was overwhelmed by Paul's friendly and professional demeanor. I ordered 2 suits and 5 shirts from Scandy, and I love every piece of clothing that I had made. This summer I ordered 4 more suits and shirts to be shipped to Canada. Paul still had my measurements on file, sent me some pictures of fabric samples, and had a suit ready and shipped out to me to try on in about 2 weeks. After trying on the suit and assuring Paul that everything fit alright, he got to work on the other suits I had ordered. I will be receiving the rest of my order in a week or two, and could not be more excited about them.

A friend in Chiang Mai had recommended Scandy and I agree wholeheartedly with his favorable recommendation. It was easy communicating what I wanted. You will not be disappointed and the prices are very competitive. Treat yourself to tailor-made clothing!

I have an odd experience at Scandy Collection that ruined my trip to Chiang Mai. Although I later proceeded to another tailor (Ambassador) to get my items tailored, where I got great service, the fact of the matter is that I lost time, emotional energy, and face at Scandy Collection that I would not wish on any other traveler or customer. What happened at Scandy was this: I received a quotation on a Tuesday evening for having a shirt made. The quotation was high. The following day, I returned to Scandy and a different worker as behind the desk. I then received a lower quotation....therefore, I ordered the shirt and paid upfront. Approximately 40 minutes later, as I was eating in a nearby cafe, the owner/proprietor approached me and declared that I would 'have to pay more' even though I had paid in full, received a receipt, and most importantly...had been well served by his employee. I found this contrary to the rules of business and disrespectful. Instead of paying more after the fact, I asked for the order to be reversed so that I could take it to another shop (at Ambassador the quotation was immediately lower than both offers at Scandy). After the order had been reversed, the owner of Scandy flew into a rage and attacked my character, following me out onto the street. He kept saying that 'he had never met a customer like me before' and that I was a bad person. Although I do not live in Chiang Mai, the entire ordeal did affect my public image and could have been horrible for me if I actually lived in Thailand. Upon reflection, I do not believe that any of the above would have happened to me if I had not been a solo female traveler.

Iam a frequent customer from Scandy since more than 6 years. And Iam so sorry that I need that long time to tell everybody that it is really worth to come here if you need a new suit, shirts or anyting to tune-up your outfit. I have a business in China and I also spent every year many month in Chiang Mai. After all that years all my suits and shirts made here in Chiang Mai from Scandy collection. Also my customers here in China ask me where I got this perfect suits from. So if you need a good looking new suit, come here and be satisfied.
