Ann has a healing intuition that is beyond ordinary. I grew up in NYC and have have had many deep tissue and healing massages in my life but absolutely not one beats Ann. Hands Down.

Ann is a very talented massage therapist. One of the best massages I ever had. And I had many.
A traditional massage, a combination of thai therapy and Karen hill tribe technique. Don't expect a luxurious spa. But you get the best treatment she can give you. Ann is friendly warm and generous. And she has a great sense of humor ( and her English is perfect)
I also took courses with her, and they were great. I am a professional therapist, but her hill tribe technique was amazing. I learned a lot. For both beginners who really want to learn thai massage and professionals who want to go more in depth I recommed her classes!!!

By far the best massage in Chiang Mai! I had massages with almost everyone working there and they all were really great and relaxing. And it's not just the typical routine, they really work on the tense parts and after one or two hours I always felt so much better. The owner, Ann, is truly amazing and knows what she's doing. In fact, I was so fascinated with their massage techniques, I took a 2 week course and learned it myself.
Do yourself a favor and get a massage there!

Background: Gym rat with torn shoulders, a slight "scoliosis back" that loves to pull itself out every year. I've spent a lot of money looking for a fix to my body (massage, chiro, acupuncture, etc.) and this is one of 3 establishments that have legitimately contributed to my road to being healthy again.
To simply label this another massage parlor would be a tragedy. Ann and Cha were clearly professionals in their understanding of the body and ways to relieve areas of imbalance - this spans heat/herbal therapy, tok sen, and deep tissue/fascia work.
Unfortunately, you cannot hope to undo years of bad posture, surgery, etc. with an hour and walk away cured. I had several hours over the course of four days and wished I had stayed for a week or more. Skip the cheap petting massages and skip the look-at-the-cool-decor-and-fancy-lights-places that use consumerism propoganda. If you want more long term help and, perhaps most importantly, a proper assessment and identification of where your problems lie, then HHC is the place to turn to. You will be surprised with how many areas of tension you have and didn't know - even if you think you're "normal."
*The mantra no pain no gain applies here. If you want serious recovery, you may need to find your "happy place." If an area hurts, you need to let them hurt you, but be sure to communicate the "level 11" pain areas so they can focus on them....a puckering up moment for sure. Worth flying over from Korea just for this. I wished Ann and Cha could fit into my check in bag :) Thank you so much, HHC. I will be back.

For someone used to luxe 5 star spas and brand name products, the fact that this dingy little hole in the wall has left me speechless at how good the massage was and no complaints about the set up says it all. This is not a fancy schmancy spa experience with fluffy robes, clean spa cuisine treats and spa products that are advertised in glossies. This is therapeutic massage at its authentic best. 90 minutes of Karen hill tribe herbal oils, heated herbal compress and a lot of pulling knocking stretching and no small amount of pain cost just 700Baht for the fine pleasure. Will be back!

Long over due review...I had a two hour massage with Ann Saturday night, half way into the massage. I had decided to sign up for a Thai course and spend the following week with 2 gentlemen (career massage therapists) and an Italian lady (beginner) learning massage techniques from an amazing and patient teacher. Ann is AWESOME! I look forward to returning to Chiang Mai and taking additional classes.

I want to start off by saying I have been to quite a few doctors and therapists for non-specific back and abdominal pain. I found Ann, the owner of HHC massage on tripadvisor and decided to see for myself if there is something that can help me since western medicine has not really benefited me. I am generally skeptical of alternative methods but still decided to give it a try.
I spoke to Ann before I scheduled and I explained to her my history and symptoms. The next day I had my first Massage.... This is not your typical thai massage, she could pinpoint exactly where my problem areas were and used holistic methods. I must say I felt an incredible difference after only 1 session. She was able to schedule 2 more sessions before I had to leave (she was even able to fit me into her busy schedule on my last day).
Ann is well trained and incorporates healing methods she learned from her tribe in North Thailand. She speaks English very well and most importantly is a very warm person.
This was a gift that I had the opportunity to meet Ann and gain some relief. Thanks to Ann I feel much better now.

For treatment of all your old injuries and help improve your mobility this is the place to visit, l won't say it's pain free but they have helped me gain full range of movement in a messed up knee after numerous operations, and taken out all the knots in my shoulders and back.
Thanks to Ann, Joom, Na and Ning for there patience and hard work.

The place is clean, cool and smells of herbal compresses. Ann is very easy to communicate with both via e-mail for booking and when you arrive to work out any problem areas. I've had 5 massages here, all advanced level, ranging from 1 hour to 1.5 hours and no two were exactly the same, which I appreciated, because she wasn't simply going through the motions. The hours are very flexible, but e-mail or call ahead so someone is available when you arrive. Everyone is very professional, and I will continue to go to them for any problems: tension headaches, tight shoulders, lower back pain with confidence that they'll sort me out!

Ann and her staff moved HHC from the old city to a new place. Still easy to find and what a great new place she made it!
Lovely little place in the front to sit outside. Inside now with airco for the massages. Love it! Must go!
