Run by Sai (Lahu hilltribe) and Blake (Canadian) this relaxed little bamboo bar is a great place to chill out and talk with travelers, local Farang and Thais. As the reviews show, we play a wide mix of tasteful music that you aren't likely to hear anywhere else. Also, you won't get the typical hassles here associated with many bars. We are happy to give you info on traveling in the region, and especially motorcycling! We've been running the Lost Hut since 2005 and know how to look after people.

Definitely not recommend. I went based upon the great reviews online. What I found was a small depressing hole in the wall filled with unfriendly expats. The service was okay, but the drink I ordered was tiny in comparison to other bars and overpriced.

We just wandered past the lost hit on our way to Dash around the corner. Very good little bar, cheap, good service and the owners and staff engaging and helpful. The kids had a photo to go on 'the wall' which was a nice touch. Certainly not a bar to plan your evening around or to stay in all night... More

You couldn't meet a nicer couple than the two who run this place. They were among the first people who welcomed us in Chiang Mai and we realised we were in a good place with good people.

It's a great little place to meet lovely people. I only found out about this place because a friend of mine took me there and until then I didn't know this bar existed! It's got such a good vibe and the staff are friendly and attentive, always make sure your glass is filled. Great music too. It's not a big... More

We found the lost hut. Great little bar perfect for a quick night cap after going for a meal at the local restaurants with the added bonus of clean toilets

We actually came here because of Dee's fish and chips (he comes here 8:30-9:30 every weekday) and stayed for much longer due to the wonderful Faang. We had a great time and drank far too much. Miss it at your peril.

My favourite little bar in Chiang Mai. Always great people to meet and super friendly and polite staff. Here you'll find locals, expats and travellers all chatting away.
