I travelled in a Group of 14 people (including 5 under 10 kids) in Thailand in Genuary. The time we spent in the Chang Mai was an absolute highlight and big parto of it was due to the excellent Guide Narong and the Green Trail Organizations: the excursions were various, very well organized and all defenetly worth. Elephants, kayaking, Palong Villave were my personal top picks. But again, the wise and knolegable wave of Narong was inspiring and made the difference! I defenetly recomend the Organization and Narong in particular. Hope to go back to those beautiful land!

My partner and I really enjoyed this trip as part of our mini-vacation in ChiangMai, Thailand. We were picked up by our lovely tour guide K.Chai on time and he made sure to stop at a market to get fruits and even stopped at a tea shop for us. His english was great and answered all of our questions about the trip and ChiangMai. Our first activity, water rafting, was not as good as we had expected because the water levels were quite low and the duration was also short. It was still fun, nonetheless. Our second activity, zip lining, was VERY fun. The guides were hilarious and knew what they were doing. There are 30 (i think) stations, but you can choose how many you'd like to do depending on your comfort level. You can also buy your photos for 100B. Our third activity was visiting the long neck tribe, which was quite scenic -- it was beautiful to see all the handcrafted clothes/decorations/materials. Our last activity was visiting the elephant poo poo park, which was informative and educational - I got to make pink recycled paper from elephant poop! They also had a souvenir shop with all kinds of recycled things made from elephant poop.

First time to Northern Thailand... couldn't have had a better introduction to the area thanks to our amazing tour guide Nook. Our day started off with a trip to visit the Karen Long Neck tribe...had fun learning about their culture and buying some of their handy crafts. Next we stopped roadside and had fresh pineapple from a local farm, it was yummy!!! Then the adventure continued to the border of Myanmar with a quick stop for some delicious honey tea! Nook then took us over the border and we visited several amazing temples and ended in a huge market before heading back to Thailand! We were then off to a delicious lunch in a quaint restaurant in a rice patty!!! Delicious everything there!!! Next we toured the Opium Museum and learned about the devastating effects Opium had on society throughout history. Finally we ended our day at the Golden Triangle where we took amazing photos where Thailand, Laos and Myanmar meet!!! Stopped at a couple of Temples on the way home and made it back to the hotel following a fabulous day!!! Nook was an amazing guide...very informative and easy to understand!!! Best part was the wonderful sense if humor she shared with us all... kept us laughing the whole day! I'd take the whole trip again with Nook!!!

We had a great time on our tour. Our tour guide and bus driver were just great and wholesome people. Our tour guide knew a lot about the area and helped make us feel welcome. We especially loved how the tour company uses youth from the villages to help give them a job by acting as a mini tour guide for the different villages. That was an added plus that we really liked being able to support. It’s not much adventure to be honest as you are driven by bus from waterfall to waterfall and then a 2 hour easy hike in the mountains/rice fields but you see a lot and it’s well worth it. The overnight in the Karen Village is quite luxurious to be honest. We were expecting low standards but got a lovely cabin on the river with a view of the rice fields that was just perfect. The second day is fun but the first day is worth the cost. The second day we were both tired, cold and it was raining a bit as we visited the mountain for sunrise (our tour guide made a mistake and told us the sun rose at the top but it actually rose from the parking lot so we missed the sunrise entirely). The pagodas of the old king and queen were great and even if it was misty it was still a nice thing to see. We opted to skip the bamboo rafting as we were too tired and it probably wouldn’t have been too exciting (and we were still cold and couldn’t imagine getting wet ;-) ) Our tour guide was great and made 3 different suggestions but again we were just really tired and wanted to shower in our hotel in Chiang Mai. Positives - supporting local businesses, lovely views, lovely people, good food and learn a lot. Negatives - The company sent a list of things to bring that in the end we just really didn’t need as the cabin had toilet paper, bath towels, sheets, blankets, etc. Definitely recommend but don’t expect to be roughing it. It’s more like a nice guided tour in the mountains with a little bit of glamping and really nice tour guides always wanting to help!
