First I went there only because the spa was near our guesthouse. The price was a little bit...we found out it was worthy. The therapists are professional. They chopped what we need for washing our feet, like lemongrass and something I can't named, looked like making soup of my feet. The therapist showed us where to changed, where to store the bags. I almost fell asleep during the whole massage. Next time I definitely want to study how to massage in this spa. GOOD. Also the mango after massage tasted great.

study at Spa Mantra
Dec 2016 • Solo
I study at Spa Mantra 9 massages.
I learned so many things by the teachers! Very friendly and helpful !
They teach me the movements one by one and also I received massages from them.
It was so relaxing I couldn't continue my daily lesson.

I really recommend Spa Mantra for a treatment or study !

Thanks a lot to all of the staff and specially Mrs Boom and Mrs Pan (my teachers).

I wish to come back some day.

One of kind offering Professional Massages, courses and products
May 2016
Chiang Mai Spa Mantra is situated just to the north of Chiang Mai square on the Santitham Roundabout.
The Spa is unique in its ability to impress its public in entering from the outside visually and on entering you are lost within the 5 senses. You initially sense the smell of the fresh herbs filling the space with exciting and interesting smells which leave you guessing to what they are, then the sounds of the waterfall from the Spa Mantras own grande design. You are then pleasantly met by one of the staff members who immediately bring you back to life after experiencing a moment of pure ZEN.

You are then shown the services and products of Spa Mantra and offered some drinks. The staff will give you everything you need to make your stay, just pure bliss, especially if you have tried some of the cheaper places that offer 200 baht for thai massage which believe me is not the same.

Once you decide on the treatment you desire, you will be guided by one of the staff to the area, whether on the ground floor or on the top floor for the treatment plan. Giving you an experience never to forget especially if you are in need of a genuine Thai treatment.

Spa Mantra exceed in the areas where other fails, for example, 200 baht massage doesnt exist as the quality is just not their and your own personal enjoyment has gone as you suffer from the person giving you an express thai massage. In Spa Mantra they concentrate on traditional thai treatments leaving you with a pure self satisfaction, blissfulness and unforgettable experience that will leave you floating away from the premises.

You can also go a step further and learn some of the traditional thai therapies like I did, Tok Sen :-)
Something different and really enjoyable, leaving you with interest to do more and more with their sister school ITM.

Recommendation
try the massage and notice the difference from a 200 baht express massage to a professional thai massage.
also take a course and learn how to give your own treatments using thai traditional techniques.

Student and Customer!
Dec 2013 • Couples
This place is well deserving of 5-stars! I came here first as a student and then as a customer.
The atmosphere is high class all the way, the herbal drinks (before and after treatment) have been awarded several honors and it is not a surprise why. There is a high level of professionalism that could give any American Spa a run-for-their-money.
Good privacy, great products, well-trained Massage Therapists, quiet, CLEAN, private and excellent English communication skills.

The prices are a bit higher than some other places but its money well spent.
The classes I took (Aroma Oil massage, Hot Stones, Tok Sen) were very well taught and again worth the money.

I highly recommend this place for both treatments and classes.
I am a Licensed Massage Therapist (U.S.A.) and this place did not disappoint!

My Spa Mantra Experience!
Oct 2012 • Solo
Talk about real relaxation , this is the right place to go. The ambiance is so warm and relaxing and the employees are very kind and accomodating. They don't only offer different Spa courses; they actually offer courses for those who like learn and become a professional therapist.

It's awesome and love it!
