Great Market with lots of stalls and restaurants
Mar 2020
The Anusarn Market offers a huge variety on gift stalls, massages, restaurants and entertainment. Muaythai boxing will be displayed with domestic and international fighters, a Cabaret show close to the boxing ring, just in case you don't enjoy seeing red sweat.
Worthwhile having a casual stroll through the market and experience some of Chiang Mai's local dishes.
Easy accessible, and lots of options ( taxi, motor bike taxi or tuk tuk) to get back to your hotel. Hard Rock Cafe just around the corner.

tourist-oriented market in the night bazaar area
Feb 2020
Fairly one dimensional market, not a lot of character, one just north ending in 'alare' is better, this one does have parking tho, the entry spot from the river road does have the roadhouse which is worth a look, especially at night; off the river road near anantara and the river market (the iron bridge)

Clean
Feb 2020 • Couples
Obviously this place is made for tourists. Market selling lots of souvenirs, massage services and thai food amid the night bazaar along the stretch of street outside the market. It was bright and airy, relatively big. Food court seems to be relatively clean as well. Had my mango sticky rice at this market twice.

Great Experience
Jan 2020 • Couples
My husband and I stumbled across this market on our way back from dinner. Lots of stalls selling crafts, with the vendors making their products as you walk by. We never felt that the vendors were being pushy, most were friendly and just said hello without bothering you.
There are plenty of massage and nail stops for a very reasonable price, and a food court selling a variety of treats.
There are bars on the periphery, some with live music which created a nice ambience.
Clearly aimed at tourists but we enjoyed wandering around this market and picked up a few little bits.

Another in a long street of markets
Jan 2020 • Couples
We started at the Ploen Ruedee market then Kalare then ended up here. So many markets in one place! All very similar stalls in the end but still nice to wander! Would suggest doing one a night so it doesnt get too boring or your feet dont fall off!

Clean And Spacious
Jan 2020
This was the largest section of the Chiang Mai Night Bazaar (other main sections being Ploen Ruedee Night Market and Ka Lae Night Bazaar), with many stalls selling food, handicrafts, and souvenirs. For example, there were seafood baskets for 300-500 baht, salads/rice/noodles for 50-100 baht, exotic meats skewers for 25 baht, etc. My personal favourite food stall was SukiShakes, which sold smoothie bowls for 70-100 baht. There were live music performances as well as shortteaser performances encouraging people to watch the ladyboy cabaret shows. Overall, it was quite a clean, spacious, and engaging night market to spend the evening, especially compared to the Chiang Rai Night Bazaar.

Worth a mosey around...

Nothing there you haven't seen before apart from the Chiang Mai Cabaret which is, worth a visit.

Just the usual stuff, we bought a few things and it wasn't as packed as the Night Market road outside. We grabbed a Grab from the other end as there was less traffic. It's something to do on an evening.

For food I recommend the big food Hall near Hard Rock Cafe, and MaCDonalds (although why would you come to. Chiang Mai and sit and eat in either of those places? ) We visited the food Hall and the stall I show (No 30) in the photos cooks and serves excellent food.

Dinner was divine...
Dec 2019
My commendation is about the food served at Chill Square, specifically the awesome corner lot named 'Singh' near the live performance stage. They cook meals on the spot, with a widespread menu on offer. We ordered their pork and plum soup and stirfry veg -- their meals are consistently tasty, well cooked and quick. Price is average but not as pricey as the other stalls. Good food + live performances makes this a fortunate find for meals that hits the right spot.
