Firstly, we were scammed in Thailand into paying for this trip when we asked to do a NO RIDING, ETHICAL elephant rescue care sanctuary. This did not become apparent to us until much later as the two trips are very similar....... Besides the lack of welfare of human safety and the animal abuse. We have been in Chiang Mai a... More

After reading the mixed reviews on TripAdvisor about the elephants being treated badly I started to regret booking this tour. But it was honestly such a fun, action packed and rewarding day. We started the day with a short walk with the elephants. Our tour guide was great and did not hurt the elephant, but instead used commands that the... More

We done the 3 day 2 night trek. Myself and my girlfriend done this trek recently. It started out well our guide was great and we started out hiking to a waterfall which was basically a slide, this was really cool. We then went on a nice hike to the lumdu tribe village. We were in a small group of... More

We booked a one day tour visa our hotel for 2000 baht each of trek to waterfall, butterfly and issues farm and elephant riding. The butterfly thing was short but cool, orchid one wasnt for me. Just flowers?? Then the trek to the waterfall was hard work but good. The waterfall is tiny after the 40 minute trek but it... More

The structure of our day was as follows: Picked up at 8:30 Butterfly farm Elephants Rafting Tribal Village Dropped back at our hostel at 5.15. The butterfly farm? We were there for about 15 minutes. It was pointless. I spent about 3 minutes looking at butterflies and the other 12 drinking expensive coffee. Seeing the elephants was a mixed experience.... More

I had paid to spend my day with another company. When we were approaching the river, we came across this tour group. What we witnessed was the 'tour guides' hitting the elephants in the face and on the head. This included punching one of the elephants in the side of the face. The elephants looked both tired, stressed and sad.... More

We booked this tour after asking for a package that included rafting and an elephant experience. After booking, I jumped online and was tempted to change after reading all the bad reviews. But we are on a tight budget and it was already late. Happily enough, we were pleasantly surprised by everything we got to do including extras such as... More

My husband and I booked this trekking trip while in Bangkok much to his dismay. He had the foresight to know that we shouldn't trust a tour until we see the tour guide. The moment we met our " tour guide" we were a bit shocked. He met us at our hotel and proceeded to act spastic and made us... More

My girlfriend and I signed on to the "1 day Mahout & Trek" special combination trip with Jumbo Trekker in Chiang Mai Thailand. Firstly I would like to point out that our tour guide for the day was extremely nice, friendly and did his best to make the most out of a bad situation that we found ourselves in. Now... More

We booked a 3day/2night tour with jumbo trekker "Nina - travel with a smile" Agency. The Agency service was fine and we ended up paying 1600 bath/pax which is average (1300-1800) for these tours. Our trekking group consisted of 10 people. (Max is 14 people) which was appropiate. The trekking guides do not belong to any tour operators but is... More
