This market is one of severals that are recommended by local people if you would like to buy and try some fresh fruit and vegetable together with local foods like northern sausage and Kap Moo with freen chilli paste. Only thing to think about is parking but food is good and people in market are so nice. It is located not that far from Chiangmai university and Suan Dok temple.

This is my nearest market and where I buy most of my fruit and vegetables, I like to support small, local sellers. The in-season produce is always fresh, and my favourite stall-holder often adds a few chillies, spring onions, some coriander, as a kindly gesture, which I think is such good customer service, not to mention charming. Another stall sells celery, a favourite salad ingredient for me, and not overly easy to find elsewhere, unless you want to pay through the nose at the supermarket.

Also here, I've bought my kitchen utensils, glassware, flowers, had spare keys cut, and topped-up the credit on my phone. What's not to love ?

I make it a habit to visit the wet market at least once whenever i travel for holidays overseas. There is where you can buy fresh fruits or salad other than what your hotel can provide. For cooking enthusiasts, you can buy saffron for very cheap. A whole kilogram of saffron only costs 350 baht or about MYR35. That's sick!

Along the market, there are shops selling all sort of stuff like clothing, gadgets, jewelries, even motorcycle parts and accessories. Public transportation from the market to your hotel within the city is also easily available. A tuk-tuk ride will cost you about 60 baht or about MYR6. Basically, everything is cheap there. A must visit.

I'm coming to this market for 15 years now. Real fruit juices, lots of fruits, lots of veggies and everything a larger market would normally have. They've now started to have some flowers as well. Get your basic home and kitchen accessories here as well

Hello!! Here is the good place to shop before going to CNX airport. Not big but can find many things such as fruits, northern style chili paste, sausage, and crispy pork skin.

It is just next to Brighton Chiang mai Christian Centre run by a Singaporean pastor. We were there for English service when the locals told us about this market. Interesting local food and products. Good experience.

It's a medium size market..very near to suthep road..it sells all kinds of food..from fresh fish until well cooked noodles..some shops sell fashion but the price is too expensive compared with waroros market..it's a market for you to buy everyday needs..not for sightseeing or buying souvenirs..

This place is a one stop location for dried longan, date, nuts and a lot more. There is also a tea shop selling large variety of tea that range from 35B onward. I seen many local tourist and not many foreigners shopping here. Do bargain if you buying in bulk. Most recommended to buy here is the dried longan and tea.
