Our half day temple tour ended here at the market. We zipped around following our private tour guide, afraid we would get lost. It is sprawling in size, full of activities and lively colors. You can find everything from clothing, fabric, fruit, vegetables, flowers, fried pork rinds, dorian fruit. Pretty much everything under the sky. We didn't purchase anything, snapped... More

I will say this.....the place is CLEAN and they definitely pay attention to hygiene (unlike our experience in Cambodian markets). It is a fun place to explore (dried bugs, water bugs to eat) unknown fruits, dried fruits, all kinds of kitchen items.....and my favorite-the flower market!

Local Market for Locals. Gd if can speak abit if Thai. Not so much a shopping-market but more to immerse yourself in the culture. Head up to the top floor for some Thai Ice Tea.

This market is a must - gave me an insight to all things local - from food, snacks, nick-knacks, clothes and many other items. For the adventurous foodies, try some of the local sausages and pork dishes. They also have lots of tea and flavored local dry snack items. You will need no more than 30 to 45 minutes -... More

This is my opinion of a great place to understand the local vibe. It is not touristy. The food selections are reasonable priced and vast, possibly more that the street markets. The section along the riverfront is all flowers, and if you walk 15 feet in from the street you can watch them hand crafting many of the floral arrangement... More

Lots of different buildings and stalls compriose this market which is atypical of Thai markets. Lots of fake stuff and also some local stuff too, and also those hard to find things at a decent price. There is no directory as such so you have to ask around if you want something specific. Or you can spend a long time... More

This night market is approximately 15 mins walk from the Chiang Mai Night Bazaar. It is hidden in a quiet corner at the other end of the road where only the locals know. The stuff there are relatively cheaper than in the Night Bazaar. You can get all you need in that night market, from fashion wears to toys, pets... More
