After walking around the city we headed for the park to sit and relax and watch the world go by. Peaceful and green by the water. A few vendors around if you need a drink or an ice cream. Also rest rooms.
Nothing spectacular but a nice green space in the city.

Really an oasis in the middle of the city. Chiang Mai was very very hot in May and while walking around we came across this park. Lots of vendors outside and few shops inside. Good to sit under a shady tree and relax. There is a spot to feed the fish, hundreds of them.

A very beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing park! I immediately felt embraced with peace as I walked in. The fountains have a refreshing sound, it’s pretty quiet, and there are plenty of benches to relax on. I took a book and found a perfect place to just read and people watch. There is a walking path with small gym equipment stations and a playground for kids at the far end. I enjoyed a scoop of ice cream from one of the vendors inside.

We went there first with our son and grandsons during the Flower Festival and were amazed at all of the many colorful flower displays. The next week just the two of us returned. While the additional flowers from the Festival had been removed, the gardens were still just as beautiful. It's a great place to rest after a long walk in the city.

Love this park located exactly south west within the old city. It's become a favorite place to visit as it offers a decent play area for kids, plenty of space to walk around and a few small places to buy food or drink. It's very well kept and has always been clean and tidy when I've visited. Quite surprising to see such a variety of things such as beautiful big fish, birds, exercise machines, a basketball court, yoga, massage etc.... worth a visit

A small but well maintained park, great to sit and relax with a book.Mats to hire if you’re happy to sit on the ground, some benches if not. I was there over new year so no food or drink was available in the park, but found an iced coffee round the corner. When I came back a guy was selling ice cream near the gate.

Nice little park to chill away from the hustle of Chiang Mai. It’s right on the main road, but you can’t really hear it. Take a picnic as there’s not much in the way of facilities. Or there’s quite a nice little (very cheap) thai restaurant next door

And by that I mean it has a play area, seating, a lake, fountains, a basketball court, a walking/running track, exercise equipment, clean toilets, several refreshment stalls, a full cafe serving DELICIOUS iced chocolate, large-scale public art and probably a lot more I’ve missed. It’s a lovely place to visit, just next to the city walls and old moat too.

This park is a haven of peace and tranquility against the chaotic traffic in the city, with a decent coffee shop, ponds, and Tai Chi practice in the early mornings. Always strollers, families with children playing, or people lying on the grass reading a book, others playing sports.
Superb to see the first weekend of February, during the Flower Festival which takes place mainly at Nong Buak Haad Park (and Thapae Gate), which are covered for the occasion of carpets formed of hundreds of varieties of flowers, and where the producers come to expose their production and to confront themselves during floral art competitions.
It is located at the corner of Arak Road / Bumrung Buri Rd, just opposite Fort of Ku-Hueang
Dog access to the inside of the park is not allowed. It is also forbidden to smoke
