This place is just incredible. A quick train ride, followed by a short distance on a bicycle takes you to this quaint little farm where you learn how to cook a variety of quick, simple yet absolutely tasty Thai dishes. The hospitality is out of this world and our cooking team took their time to explain as much as they... More

We did the one day cooking school experience with Smart Cook. This started with a visit to a local market to learn about Thai ingredients. We then travelled by local train to the village where the cooking school was - we biked from the train station to the cooking school - these experiences were a great way to start our... More

Great place cooking on a farm! Did a full day including all veggie dishes which were easily substituted. We made 6 dishes and ate them all, great detailed recipe book given at the end! We also picked our own ingredients from the farm, had a train ride, cycled around town! Mint our teacher was brilliant!!!

Took a evening lessons. Kiki instructor was very funny, nice and good teacher. Visit old food market. Cook a nice soup, main Thai dish and curry. Finish with sweet rice. Cannot eat everything we cook. Unfortunately we miss beer for closing the evening because of elections day. Above all nice evening.

We took the half day class and it was truly amazing. Kiki our instructor was super nice and he explained a lot about the ingredients. The atmosphere is very warm and they treat you like family. The recipes were delicious and I can't wait to try them at home. I highly recomend it, it's a must do in Chiang Mai.... More

Had an awesome time. Our teacher Kiki was absolutely fantastic and I recommend this to anyone who wants a taster of thai cooking. Reasonably priced compared to competitors as well.

We booked the cooking class from 3.00 p.m. - 7.30 p.m. for 900 Bt at the hotel (we didn't negotiate). Got picked up from the hotel and drove to the farm. We where lucky, because it was just the two of us, private lesson! If we had booked the next day there would have been 30 kids! We had a... More

We had a great day at Smart Cook cooking school. We were able to choose our own menu from a good selection of Thai dishes. It was very well run. Everything was set out when we got there, ready to go. Our teacher Mint was very friendly and able to help with questions. First we all went to the wet... More

Chose 6 traditional Thai dishes including appetizers, main dishes and desserts. Reached@ their rural farm/kitchen by a short 20 mins train ride which was a new experience as well. The instructors introduced each ingredient around their farm. Each dish was delicious and fun to cook! We enjoyed a bike ride around their neighborhood but was cut short due to a... More
