As a self confessed foodie, I loved this school! From the time they picked me up at my condo, to the market to choose the fresh ingredients for the menu, to the cooking class itself. Visan and Palm are very articulate in explaining how the ingredients fuse together to give the taste of the dish. How to prepare them by doing them yourself. And finally to sitting down and eating your own creation. Simply an outstanding time and experience for me.

We attended a half day school here as part of a Thailand tour. It was a really unusual experience, and well worth doing: even the reluctant cooks amongst us enjoyed the very relaxed and highly professional class. We learned how to cook four courses, and surprised ourselves at how easy and delicious they turned out to be. The kitchen was spotlessly clean, the food was of high quality and beautifully fresh. As soon as we had made a dish, we took it to the dining area to eat the result. By the time we got back to our workstations, they had been cleaned and the ingredients and pans for the next recipe were ready for us to use.At the end of the morning we each received the owners' cookery book.

Pom and Vasin, the owners, were truly inspirational in imparting their knowledge, skill and love of their homelands food. Firstly we went to the local market to see (touch and smell!) the range of foods we would be using. Then back to the school, coffee and our first demonstration. We cooked, we ate, then another demonstration and then we cooked and ate again, then a further demonstration and more cooking and eating. My husband, who is definitely not a cook, loved it and we came away satiated with lovely food.

My wife and I both thoroughly enjoyed this activity on our trip to Thailand. We did a morning class and got lucky being the only two in the class that day. The portion in the market was very interesting and educational. The food was superb, some of the best I have ever made. Pom and Vasin were great teachers and such nice people. If you love either Thai food or cooking, I highly recommend their class!

My husband and I shared a personal cooking experience with Vasin and Pom whilst on holiday in Chaing Mai. They collected us from our hotel and took us to their local market to buy our ingredients. We were asked what Thai food we enjoyed and made various meals to suit us both. They cooked each course first then we followed by cooking our own dishes. We then finished off our day by eating our prepared food. A fabulous and relaxed day before returning to our hotel. Would recommend this to anyone wishing to have a friendly and personal cooking experience.
