I definitely recommend this cooking class if you're in Chiang Mai! The couple who owns the company picked us up from our hostel and took us to the market to pick out the ingredients fresh for what we were cooking! We each got to choose 4 things we wanted to make from a big list they had to offer. The... More

I joined this cooking class as a last minute activity with the tour group I was travelling with. I didn’t know at the time, but later on when I paid the owner, it was much less than what the tour operator was charging the group if booked online before our tour started. I was with four others in the morning... More

It was great to visit the market and learn about local food. the class size was very small which made it very nice. We cooked 4 differnt dishes. It all tasted very good.

Amazing. No one else booked a class for that day so we had a private cooking lesson! Instruction was excellent and food was equally amazing. Very professional and clean set up. Quiet area away from the busy old town area.

If you're in Chiang Mai, this is an absolute must! Vannee and her husband are incredibly welcoming and have been doing this for 19 years. No matter what level of experience you have in cooking, you are in great hands. You'll learn about various Thai cuisine and even get a cookbook to take home. Hands down one of the best... More

We heard about Vannee's class from our taxi driver Tom (who is lovely) and she set up the experience for us. We were picked up from our hotel and after choosing our meals from a menu, we were taken to the amazing indoor food market to pick up our ingredients. As we walked around, Vannee explained the different items we... More

This was a straight up fantastic experience! Vannee and her team were professional and responsive right from when we first emailed. It's a great class irrespective of level of culinary ability (I'm a novice while my wife is skilled). Vannee picked us up and we selected what dishes to prepare, then went to a local market to buy ingredients --... More

Taking a cooking class at Classic Home Cooking is an experience that I won't forget anytime soon. Not only did we learn a variety of different dishes, but we also enjoyed a guided tour to Chiang Mai's food market. A great hands on experience to have during your stay in Chiang Mai.

This was so real, in every sense! I felt like I was in someone's grandma's kitchen, learning secret family recipes! Our teacher was the sweetest and was very clear transmitting the instructions and useful tips. The trip to the local market was a great plus! Thank you for a lovely afternoon!
