Great outdoor setup. I was on a G adventures tour so we were picked up
and taken to the market to pick up some fresh ingredients. market was amazing!
CHC has numerous cooking stations set up outside on a covered patio. The staff
does a great job, everything flows very smoothly. We made four dishes and then ate what we had cooked. Came away with a forty page cookbook!

Best cooking class!! You cook 4 dishes, and get to learn every aspect, she even tells you what substitutes you can use if you can’t get a product at home. You even get a cookbook to take home!!

Fantastic and a superb lunch to follow
They were amazing very helpful and managed my coeliac diet very well
We made curry paste the curry, noodles dish and Thai basil with chicken . Followed with sticky rice and mango
There were plenty of bottles of water and everyone got their own cooking station and prepare area

The cooking experience with Vannee was a wonderful way to spend the afternoon! Vannee’s husband picked us up from our hotel, confirmed the four dishes we wanted to learn to cook, and took us to a local market to buy a few extra ingredients. After that, we drove to their home and got cooking. Everything was well organized, easy to follow, and most importantly delicious! Vannee, her husband were so sweet and accommodating, and they even sent us home with a thoughtful gift to remember our time together. If you’re looking to take a lasting piece of Thailand home with you, eat some delicious food, and spend a couple of hours with genuinely wonderful people, then don’t hesitate to book this experience with Vannee!

Just completed this amazing cooking class. It was a fantastic experience and I would highly recommend it. We learned to cook four different dishes. The hosts were so friendly and excellent teachers.

To be honest, I thought a thai cooking class would be fun but my
husband wasn't really into the idea. So naturally, I gave him no
choice and dragged him along. Turns out, he had more fun than me!
Vannee is like the feisty grandma that you learn so much from and have
a blast with. She and her husband picked us up, let us select our menu
of 4 dishes, and took us to the local market. While there, she
answered every question, explained what we were shopping for, and even
treated us to a tasty thai fried coconut cream dessert (which I'm
dreaming about). After shopping, we went back to her house where she
has a sweet set up for a cooking class on her veranda. We learned so
much, had so much fun, and got to interact with her husband on a
couple of dishes. Everything was prepared but we did all the
ingredient prepping and cooking. You will get to cook a personalized
portion of each dish yourself so it's sort of a group activity, sort
of not. You'll enjoy your meal and laugh all night, and Vannee will
send you home in a pre-paid taxi with her cookbook. I plan to get
great use out of it in the coming years and am grateful for the time
we got to spend with her and her husband.

What a great way to spend a day in Chiang Mai! Our group was taken on a tour of a local market. For me, the highlight was watching a coconut being made into coconut cream -- very cool and very unexpected. Then we were back at 'home' to prepare a four course meal. Our chef was knowledgeable and entertaining and she guided us in our cooking. Of course, the food was wonderful and my mango sticky rice was the best I had in Thailand. (Of course, I'll say the same thing about the other dishes as well: green chicken curry, stir-fried chicken with hot basil leaves, and pad thai. Excited to try all these dishes again at home.

Warm and friendly well organized Thai cooking classes where you cook then eat really great food. Easy to understand directions and food was fabulous.

Went with a group to the cooking class. The market trip before hand was really interesting, and a great experience. We all had tons of fun chopping and cooking the food, and had a great feast afterwards with no washing up! Highly recommend, thoroughly enjoyed.
