Did the Colors of Chiang Mai biking tour, it was absolutely great and worth all the money. Tour took us 4 hours, stopping at some local temples, really local Thai restaurant (best Khao Soy I had so far), a primary school (look inside), a bakery and some rice fields. Our guide Vinny was the best, could answer literally every question... More

We had a good time on this little tour. The bikes were all in very good shape and helmets were offered if you wanted them. Water was provided for each rider also. The pace is slow so any fitness level is catered for. There are visits to points of interest you wouldnt find as a tourist on your own and... More

This was great. Not difficult biking, but interesting off beat places I would never have seen. We saw where they make the funeral pyres for the monks, a leper village, visited a school, and enjoyed a treat from a teeny bakery. The lunch altho very good was in a pretty run down place that worried me I could have gotten... More

Our family did the Colors of Chiang Mai tour a few weeks ago. The only reason that I am rating this a 4 instead of a 5 is because you should know that if you book the tour for a Sunday, the tour will not be as listed. It was nice, we loved the lunch at the local restaurant, our... More

We did the Colors of Chiang Mai tour last week and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We booked a private tour so it was just Koi (sp?) and my friend and I. We did the 4-hour tour in the morning. Koi is very knowledgeable of all the places we visited. We never felt rushed and could explore as much as we... More

Dear TKfranklin, Thank you for participating on our Private Colors of Chiang Mai exursion. A private tour is the way to go if you want some extra time at certain places or just want to cycle on your own pass and have the tour shortened when needed. We are happy that you enjoyed your private cycling experience with us. With... More

Wee and Vinny were great guides on Colors of CM who were patient with all questions and very knowledgable. Nice and relaxing (not too many cars) and made sure we all safely crossed the roads!

Enjoyable afternoon on comfortable bike around small lanes just south of Changmai. The tour started off with the temple and ended at a large market. In between we also visited bakers, school and small cafe. There were plenty of stops and the route flat with very little traffic so quiet safe. The guide was very knowledgeable with good English and... More

Our guide, Lisa was fantantastic, and her assistant who rides at the back as the 'last man' to make sure everyone's safe. We visited a temple, fed fish, a market, the leprosy centre, where the 20 recovered lepers still live, and a school. It was very informative; she runs through with you a brief history of each place where we... More

Joined for an all-day trip, which broke down to about 50 km of biking, spread out over 7 hours. During that time, my fantastic guide showed me sites that spoke to Thai culture - such as crematoriums, and livelihood - stopping by rice paddies and artisanal work areas to explain and show the everyday life of folks living in the... Dear Renee, Thank you for this great review about our full day Chiang Mai Paradise excursion. I am not sure which guide you had because we have 4 fantastic guides that can operate our Paradise tour, but they all do a great job. 50 kilometers always sounds a lot but with the flat roads and all the stops in between... We spent the day with Lisa on the "Colors of Chiang Mai" morning bike tour. Our family of 6 with Grandma, and 3 girls (13,10,7), as well as my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Bikes were appropriate sizes for the girls, helmets provided, as well as water. We made lots of fun stops at local temples, the leper village,... More
