Me and my went to Khum Khantoke for dinner and Cultural dances. The reception we received was excellent. The sitting arrangements, food and dances were well organised and presented. We were very impressed by it all.

Definitely love it as exposed to the local Thai culture. Love the experience learning dancing together with the Thai dancers. They are so friendly and the place is fantastic.

Wouldn’t return. We were really looking forward to this night and it didn’t live up to expectations. we arrived and the two of us were rushed in by two women as if we were late. We were seated at a table in the back while everyone else got to sit right on the ground in front of the stage (looked like a much better experience. We were also seated completely alone and would have liked to be integrated with others better.

The food was thrown at us as soon as we sat down with no explanation of what was what. Felt rushed, again. Not to mention, one of us ordered a vegetarian meal and got a platter that was clearly filled with meat. It was very average and not the quality you’d hope for. Drinks not worth the extra money either.

Wish we had a better experience, but we didn’t love the food, couldn’t really see the show at all and didn’t feel very welcomed.

I am not sure that some of these reviews are even about the show we saw.

The dinner and show we saw on New Years Eve was terrific. Yes, it is a big venue catering for group tours (most of whom only ate then left) but very well organised with waitresses, drink waiters and cameramen all busily helping out.
The food was well presented, tasty and ample for the two of us. Yes, they were Thai dishes but included vegetables and rice with lovely pork crackle!!!
The show was varied, interesting and a good way of experiencing some Thai culture.

Congratulations and thanks for a great show. We thoroughly enjoyed it all.

We did some research on where to find the better place to watch the traditional Northern Thai dances and decided for this one.
We pre-ordered our dinner as halal dinner and although there is a small extra charge for that, it was worth it.
The drinks are pricey as is to be expected.
We were sitting on the floor right at the stage and the show was very nice, with the dancers in good spirits. There were maybe 10 or 12 different performances.
Pick-up and drop-off at hotel in center was included. Overall it was a very pleasant experience.

It was my first time eating a traditional northern Thai cuisine and a bonus in such a setting. Food was very good and the performance was fabulous. Recommended for visitors who want to experience the famous Khantoke that is fuss-free, but I’m quite sure is not the most authentic.

Last evening we visited Khum Khantoke doe an enjoyable Thai Lanna dining experienced, the food was good, service was slow, but only to be expected in such a large venue, the entertainment was really good, they have Halal and vegetarian options, it is easily assesible from town with a local taxi, there were many groups of tourists whom appeared to be having a good time. There are stalls to buy Lanna clothing items and souvenirs, also many photo opportunities, great Lanna architecture is surrounding the venue, well worth a visit
