We reached this jetty while walking to Wat Chai Mongkol. We bought the tickets at site, costing 550 baht inclusive of fruits and juice, later at the farmer’s house. The ticket cost price appeared to be different at different times, probably depending on season. The total cruise time was about 2 hours, upstream, downstream and a stop at the Thai Farmer’s House. The ride took us bellow the city bridges, along some hotels, restaurants and coffee houses and later on, along large trees on both river banks as we moved north. The boatman was informative providing a running commentary as the boat moved upstream. We stopped at a Thai Farmer's house and restaurant where herbs were cultivated on a small scale. We enjoyed the complementary water melon, pineapple and drinks. We bought 2 bottles of balm, for topical application.

Good way to relax on the river seeing a little bit of the city surroundings. Service including collection was good and food at the stop very tasty.

We were a last-minute pick up from our hotel which was well organised. We were sorry to hear this was the first hotel pick-up for them since March and hope this is a sign of things improving. We enjoyed the gentle river cruise down the Mae Ping River until the point we offloaded at the rather sad Farmer's House for drinks and snacks. The boatman was very informative at all points and it was wonderful to see river life and some amazing looking hotels, restaurants and coffee houses. The farmer's house restaurant was delipidated and yes we got to see some herbs growing and a rabbit in a cage but it was unremarkable. We feel stopping off at a nicer place for coffee and to enjoy the river would be a better river cruise. If you book via Facebook page you can enjoy a discount from 500 Baht to 350 Baht or a 15% discount via their website. We are happy to support this local company at this time and know that business is tough.

We were lucky to get a boat for ourselves and the boat operator was very friendly and explained and pointed out sites a long the way. I don't know what I really expected but there aren't really that much to see a long the way - so essentially it just turned out to be a nice boat ride a long the river. The destination for the river tour is a small "farm" north of Chiang Mai, where the guide explains a bit of the different herbs and farming techniques - very cozy place, but I you wan't a real farm experience..this isn't it. All in all a nice boat trip - but nothing more than that.

Starting place is a little bit hard to find because it is situatited in large temple area. Tickets were 450 baht and include fresh fruits and juice. 2 hours cruise along the river was relaxing and refreshing in a hot day.
