For the total Thai massage experience

The experience started from the moment we were picked up from our hotel. I couldn’t believe they would pick us up for the price of the massage but they did. As we drove up to the location, we were so pleased to see how lovely the building was on the outside. When we entered the business, we were greeted with tea and cookies as we discussed our needs with the staff. We were in Thailand for work, and this was a rare afternoon free, so we were so excited to be able to get a massage in such a beautiful place.

I had the 90 minute full body massage. It was the first time I’ve ever had a full body massage and now I’m afraid to ever have another one for fear it won’t compare! The woman who worked on me, was called Dar. I’m not sure if that is how you spell it but that’s what it sounded like. She was amazing. The massage room was tastefully, decorated and very clean. They provide a disposable pair of underwear and a sheet for over your body. It was completely restorative and so relaxing. My colleague, who also got the same massage, is an aficionado of massages, and she said it was outstanding.

Once the massage was over, we were led back to the reception area and given more tea and cookies. After that we were driven back to our hotel. All in all there was not a single thing I can say I would change. The price was unbelievably good. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone who is seeking to experience a massage. It looks so fancy that you’ll think it’s expensive, but it was not, and they truly are experts at what they do.

Run, don’t walk, to experience The Home.

Went in for A/C, had one of the best massages of my life!

I ran into the Home Spa because I was so hot, and thought I would just do one quick spa appointment for the air conditioning. I ended up having one of the best massages of my life!

I did a head, neck, and shoulder massage, and my therapist Wipa cured me of a chronic neck pain I’ve been experiencing for years now. She clearly knew what she was doing and was far better than some therapists I’ve had back home in the US and Canada.

Also, the hospitality and service was fantastic, and the amenities were beautiful. I was blown away and will be returning soon.

Thai massage with balm & food massage

My girlfriend and I booked massages online about 2 hours before we made an appointment. We had the Toto and Pik as our therapists for both the Thai massage with balm (60 min) and the foot massage (30 min). The whole experience was excellent! The room was quite and comfortable, the therapists used just the right pressure while also paying attention to spots needing a little more love, and the tea before and after the massage were lovely! We left leaving so relaxed and happy. I would highly recommend this experience, you will not be disappointed.

Beautiful facility, disappointing treatments

The spa itself is really beautiful and relaxing. The staff in front is very friendly, and we loved the tea provided before the service. Unfortunately, the service itself did not live up to the setting. We booked a 3-hour package of 4 services: Thai deep tissue massage with balm, foot massage, nourishing facial, and Indian hot oil head treatment. The body and foot massages were very mediocre. We’d both mentioned wanting a deep massage after a 30-hour journey getting to Thailand the day before. The front desk agent tried to talk us out of the massages and sell us something gentler, which we both confirmed we didn’t want. I even specifically said that was super sore and wanted someone to work my muscles and that I didn’t mind it being a little painful. Still, we received very light massages that felt lovely but did absolutely nothing to relieve our travel soreness. The facials were just basically someone gently rubbing face wash(?)/serums(?) onto our faces for 20 minutes. The hot oil treatment was just having hot oil poured onto our scalps with a tiny bit of rubbing it in. Perhaps the most disappointing part, however, was that our masseuses ended the treatment 10 minutes early so we could shower. I think it’s ridiculous to count the shower time against our treatments, and if that was going to be the case, I would have at least appreciated them communicating that when they asked us if we wanted to shower after the oil treatment.

All in all, if you’re looking for a place to just relax, this is a lovely spot for it. But if you’re looking for actual high quality massages, this is not it.

Our hotel recommended this spa. And while it was nice having them pick us up and drop us off, and the hotel itself is lovely, this was a terrible experience for all of us in our party. The four people who got "deep cleansing" facials, said the women simply rubbed creams and lotions on them, and disappeared from the room for 15 minutes. Our massage experience was worse. Two of us (in the same room) did not get what we asked for (and wrote down on the paper they provided). They asked us if we wanted light or hard and they did not adhere to our preferences. And when asked during the session (repeatedly) to go harder / softer, no adjustments were made. So instead I moved their hand to show them and still no luck. And worse, the women chatted with one another. I politely asked them to "shhh" but it continued. I asked again and it continued. Then I said harshly, "please stop talking." and they finally listened. The worst part is that they charge more than the regular places around - all of whom provided services that were heads and tails above Home Spa.

Nothing you could do wrong here

If you want to relax and get a real good massage, come to this place.

We got picked up at our location, got a tea at the beginning, had a very good massage for an absolute bargain in a very nice place, got a snack and a tea after the massage and after all my wife got a birthday surprise including signing of happy birthday by the whole staff. It was awesome!

The Home is the resident spa of the White Boutique Hotel, an outstanding property worth its own review. The Home is its gem: an elegantly appointed spa, superb products, clean and calming environment, but most importantly with excellent massage therapists. My masseuse Wipa paid perfect attention to the problem areas I had highlighted on my intake form. Their buy one get one package for two is a great deal, but so is 450 THB for an individual traditional Thai massage. Factor in the shower (with excellent amenities), snacks, and free airport transfer, I couldn’t think of a better way pre-departure treat.

Great traditional Thai massage

My wife and I had just arrived to Chiang Mai and asked our hotel for a recommended massage place. Home massage had fair prices and a pick-up / drop-off service so it was a no brainer.

We were provided a delicious tea before getting a one-hour traditional Thai massage for 60 minutes. Definitely worth it, it was very well done! I opted for the softer variety and it was still very thorough.

The spa is very clean and peaceful.

Great spa experience and massage

It was a lovely spa on a beautiful property. The massage therapist was very skilled and I left blissed out. We got the special buy 1 get 1 and were very satisifed. They provide transportation to and from the spa, which was great except our driver was 30 minutes late in picking us up.

Great Thai massage experience

I did a 90-minute Thai massage with hot compression, the first time I’d done a Thai style massage (rather than a deep tissue massage). Pik did a great job, was gentle but firm. Appreciated the hot tea before and after, as well as the complimentary ride to and from the lovely salon. I’ll definitely return!
