Doi Inthanon Private Tour with Trek & Lunch from Chiang Mai

121 reviews
Towering over Chiang Mai, Doi Inthanon is Thailand’s highest peak. Experience it in style, with a private driver-guide to interpret and inform, on this door-to-door tour with lunch. See Wachirathan Falls and Pha Dok Seaw Waterfall; marvel at the twin pagodas built to honor Thailand’s last king and queen; set foot on the nation’s highest point; and learn about coffee farming from Karen people in Ban Mae Klang Luang village.

The Ploen Rudee Night Market is our favorite place to be in the evening. Many food stalls with all kinds of food: Korean, Thai, burgers, bbq, pizza, gyros, vegetarian, chinese, pancakes, ice-creams etc. High level entertainment. Best groups perform between 20.00 and 22.00 hrs. Personal favourites: Tomorrow Never Late band and The Courage band (reggae). A market where you can see and meet all kinds of people with different ages and from different countries. Very easy going atmosphere. TOP!

I have never experienced anything like this and hopefully never will again. The sales people had more interest in their phones than selling food. To make things worse, there was a termite swarm throughout the market place.

Good vibe to this outdoor eatery, not like the other markets it's more atuned to dining and entertainment. A live band which doesn't drown out conversation and contemporary music. A wide variety of Asian and western food options well presented and cooked in hygienic stalls. Well priced good atmosphere we liked it alot. Oh and it's not all youngsters there are a few middle aged folk there as well. Not a good rainy day venue due to the lack of overhead cover.

A nice place, equivalent to Shoreditch or Croydon box park. A tourist trap at tourist prices. It is still lovely, a nice atmosphere, but you will not find many locals here. A large beer was around £3.75 A sharing platter for 2 was £7.50-£12.50 Koch I think its still clew, but is pricey for Thailand. A few stalls mixed in and plenty of choice of food from Thai to Texmex and everything in between. If you want a change of food or a taste of home, head here. If you want authentic Thai, head down the road to one of the many Hawkers nearby.

Great atmosphere, wide selection of reasonably-priced food, live entertainment, foot massage stand. We went there two times while in Chiang Mai - we had the Chiang Mai sausage, pizza, and the huge pork skewers served in bamboo trays. All great stuff.
