Watch the light spill across northern Thailand from one of the region’s highest points, and witness a morning alms-giving ceremony that most visitors miss. I'm late to share but my partner and I LOVED this cooking class! We did the half day class back in January and we felt like it was perfect. The class was intimate, our instructor and aide were informative and funny, and we got to choose our own dish to make in each category and then eat it too. I highly recommend doing the class at the farm because they give you a tour of the things they grow to use in the cooking, on top of a tour at a local market. On an even better note, I took what I learned (and the Asia Scenic cookbook) to make Pad Thai on my own at home! It was a success if I do say so myself.

My son and I both LOVED this cooking class!! He was very hesitant at first and is also a very picky eater, but ended up having a great time and really enjoying himself (and actually ate the things he cooked). I love Thai food and thought our guide gave us good, practical cooking tips and made the whole experience really fun. This ended up being a highlight for both of us - would definitely recommend this

Group trip for running and walking the trails around Chiang Mai kicked off with the most fantastic event learning a bit about cooking Thai food. A chance to visit the market and see and learn about the fresh ingredients before beginning to prepare the food. You have a chance to prepare, cook and spice (grind your own chilli) the food you and your friends will eat together. Not to be missed as an experience.

We loved this cooking class! They were able to accommodate us even though we called to book just as the morning class was starting. Katty was a wonderful teacher. She first took us to the back garden and taught us about the herbs and veggies in Thai food and then took us to the local market as well. We made 4 dishes. The ones I chose were pad Thai, Tom yum soup, Panang curry and everyone participated in the spring rolls making. All the food was delicious! I liked it better than some of the restaurants I tried in Thailand. They even gave us a cookbook in the end with recipes so I’m excited to try to cook everything once I am back home. Thank you for this wonderful experience!
