This tiny little gem is not on the main roads of CM, but it’s a freaking amazing place. It’’s overloaded with thanks to an space god, which completely contradicts the science behind the place, BUT....the insects are phenomenal. So much care in labeling and giving...More

My wife and I found this to be one of the highlights of visiting Thailand. So much passion and heart has obviously gone into their exhibits. Our 12 year old wasn't as impressed, I would recommend dropping them off at Catmosphere so you can spend...More

Visited the museum on February 19th, 2019 and upon entering were asked our nationality. We said Canadian and she then told us admission was 200 baht each. Posted admission we found was 100 baht. Not too happy.

My girlfriend and I visited this place and were extremely impressed. I read some negative reviews of the place before going but decided to check it out anyway since I’ve got a background in biology and find these types of places fascinating. Honestly, this place...More

The exhibits are clear, many have English. I thought to price was higher than the value. It’s unique, interesting, and worth a visit.

Went in November 2018. Not sure how this place has won TA awards?!?!? Drivers may be confused as there is something like a Siam Insect World (can't remember the exact name). An address is helpful and knowing that it is near the Chiang Mai airport...More

Parts of this exhibit were interesting but it was not interactive, you needed to read a lot and there was no one available to ask questions. It cost our family of five 900 baht to enter and staying for 30 minutes was a stretch.

This entire museum is the private collection of an internationally-renowned mosquito-researching couple from Chiang Mai. Well worth the trip and 200 baht entrance fee. In addition to a large collection of pinned insects from around the world, there are fossils, teak carvings and beautiful messages/captions...More

The most beautiful museum i’ve ever been. If you love earth and mother nature you’ll enjoy the entire life work of a woman who loves life in all its forms.

Revisited the tour book. It is Baht 200 for adults and Baht 100 for kids. Don't think they will take credit cards.
