Everything was perfect, from the tour at the market where the teacher clearly explained all the ingredients to the location of the school to the class itself. The teacher is passionate and you can feel it, also he is fast in explaining and you can cook many dishes I strongly recommend this cooking course, and it is even one of... More

We were really disappointed in the cooking class provided at The Best Thai Cookery School. We did cooking classes before but this one is more a cooking demonstration instead of an actual class. We barely touched our pans and cutting board and half of the dishes will be prepared by the instructor and not by you. The instructor seemed rushed... More

I really wanted to do a cooking class in Chiang Mai before I went to Thailand and this one was recommended to us by our hotel. I cook a lot of Asian food at home and was hoping to learn from this experience. Although I think it is a bit aimed at the average tourist, which is fine, I learned... More

I am an experienced cook but not with Asian food. I wanted to do the course and persuaded my husband and teenage children to come along with me. We all had a great time and learnt six new dishes each. We chose to do different things in the choices section so between us we did about 12 different dishes. Teacher... More

The chefs are skilled, but funny and approachable. They speak English, Thai and Chinese. The teachers were very patient with my 8 year old son. Both he and i learned so much in just a morning session. My Thai husband sends his thanks as my cooking has improved 100%. What a lovely experience in a beautiful setting.

This was one of the highlights of Chiang Mai for me. You choose which dishes you want to cook before you arrive. I'd suggest if you're in a group, choosing a mix so that you can try everything. There were six of us doing the course and everything was very professional and prepared. We were asked about allergies and food... More

Came here on a recommendation from a friend who came years ago. They are so wonderful! Very friendly and funny! We were a little concerned about it being a stressful experience, but the chefs put everyone at ease. It is rare to find someone who is both an incredibly experienced chef and a very good teacher, as Richy (our instructor... More

Really great , Sam is a great instructor . Worth the money. Probably No 1 thing I did in Chiang Mai . Came here with my girlfriend, she was vegetarian and they were really able to accommodate no problems. Even had mushroom sauce to substitute for oyster sauce.

We did the afternoon class with Sam and had a great time. There were 10 of us in the group, male & female, singles, friends & couples. Stopped at the market then arrived at a stunning location for the class. A good class for not-so-serious cooks. Easy to understand, had a few Changs & some laughs as we went. You... More
