A great lively and entertaining evening with friend and fellow 🇨🇦 actor, Drew McReadie. Improv comedy at its best 🎭

Improv and standup
Sep 2019
I've been twice with my significant other. The first was an improv show, and the second was open mic night. We both thoroughly enjoyed the improv, while the open mic was a bit more hit and miss. I think one act pretty much fell flat, while the rest were mildly to pretty entertaining. There was a pretty strong focus on sex, racial stereotypes, and toilet humor - so if you are easily offended, you'll pretty much be guaranteed to find something to be upset about :)

Overall, it's an interesting night out, and for around the price of a movie ticket when you book early, it's a pretty good deal!

I'm from Bangkok and never been to a comedy club before. This is the first place that I decided to try out something new that's totally not my culture. It was a fun experience, esp the sexy host ha!.

Just for laughs!

We had never been to a comedy club and decided to try it out on one of the Comedy Club's improv nights. The club is located on the fourth floor above The Royal Oak restaurant. The audience on the night we attended was relatively small and the atmosphere was very relaxed and friendly. The show was entirely in English and most of the comedians were foreigners (although a couple of Thais). Overall, the crew was quite entertaining (Nattie was hilarious) and most of the acts were very clever. Audience participation kept things lively. Prices are reasonable and drinks are available. If you're looking for something different to do in Bangkok, this is worth checking out.

Super fun night out

We came here to see stand-up and it was funny and awesome, so we came back again the week after to see improv (also super funny). Drinks are pretty cheap and the atmosphere is lively and fun, I’m totally coming back.

The most versatile comedy club out there!

This comedy club does everything! Open mics, one man/woman show, improv, they do it all.
And the standard are always high.
Also the prices of the shows are very fair, the more you pay, the more you will laugh!

As a performer, it is the place to perform at if you're a comedian in Bangkok. The audience is always the best you can ask for.

Hilariously funny

Attended the show on Friday for the first time. Line up included 3 South African comedians plus a funny British-Thai presenter. Started downstairs in the pub for dinner (book table in advance) and then 8.30pm upstairs (4th floor with drinks served) for the show. Drinks were very reasonable except water costing 50 baht. If you want to be 'part of the show' then sit in the front row. Good choice of comedians and truly a fun evening out. Will visit again.

A Droll Night Out in Khunthep. :-)

This club is great! Been there quite a few times, both to the Standup and the Improv. The standup has many different comedians from different countries with different styles and accents, naturally not all are exactly my humour, I’ve never been disappointed though, always had plenty of side splitting laughs. But if someone in your group isn’t strong with English, maybe better choose to go on an Improv night. Oh, and I save money by booking ahead online, the tickets are even cheaper!

Friendly and welcoming
Jun 2018 • Friends
This place is on the fourth floor of the Royal Oak pub. The crowd is a mix of travellers and expats with a few locals thrown in, and the shows are in English. They have some world class international comedians who perform stand-up sets here every few weeks, and they're great. They also do open mic nights for up-and-comers. Lets face it, first time comedians are never as good as the well-practised expert acts, but the cheaper prices for open-mic nights reflect that are are quite reasonable especially if you book in advance. They also do regular improv shows and what's cool is they're really welcoming if you want to join in, just talk to the hosts after the show and they'll give you details about improv classes and get you involved when you're ready. Overall, a good place for a date, to meet friends, for a night out solo, or if you're bored of all the regular tourist activities around Bangkok.
