Wonderful time at Bangkok Bold!
Mar 2019 • Couples
Took a private cooking class for my wife and I and we had a wonderful time. Their attention to detail is top notch and our knowledge and appreciation for Thai food went to the next level. Chef Kit is a true professional! The staff were also kind and welcoming. We highly recommend Bangkok Bold and will definitely take another class the next time we are in BKK.

Went to Bangkok and stayed in Anantara Riverside. walked across to this restaurant for lunch and saw the menu was rather interesting. My My, I subsequently went back for 2 more dinners. We didnt order the same food over our 3 meals there. And every single dish was beautifully crafted. I will definitely go back again when I visit Bangkok.

Best Thai cooking class!!!

Couldn’t speak highly enough of our experience at Bangkok Bold Kitchen. From beginning to end, it was filled with hospitality, willingness to answer every minute question and a perfectly set atmosphere that made you forget you were in a big mall. Noi’s command of the English language is great (she lived in the US for many years), which makes the communication fluid at all times. And of course, the quality of the dishes was superb; at the same level of great restaurants in town, the dish we prepared was even better that a similar version we tried the night before at Nahm, which gives you an idea of the quality of the food. I give the whole experience a 5 star rating.

Decent one

Bangkok Bold is a cooking studio but also does serve food on demand at night. But it is soon going to close down due to lease expiration. However, the new place which is a real restaurant has already been opened on Charoen Krung Road.

Gotta say that food here were made with care and of rather good ingredients. There is only 1 table: i.e. chef table which is a popular trend in Bangkok. In term of amount, you will surely be more than full. We could not finish like a third of the meal. This is a good place for foreigners who wanna try different dishes and are not sure where to go for but might not be interesting for local people.

You can ask for level of spiciness too which is great. Some hit and miss for me but good enough, e.g. some was a tat too sweet but some lack sweetness, some had a bit too much chili and lime that overwhelmed other flavour. Thai food is about balance really. Otherwise, a decent chef table it is.

Beautiful Thai food

Chef Danny looked after me for a private class and it was a fantastic experience. Even if you’re accustomed to Thai Food, you’ll learn new things and have a lot of fun, learning dishes which you can recreate at home. Highly recommended.

The best!

After following about 20 cooking classes all over Thailand, Thai Bold Cooking school is the best!
Nhoi teached me so many things and her recipies are outstanding, modern and original.
We made candied shrimp pineapple salad and crab curry. I never tasted something so delicious! The biggest present is the beautiful apron that Nhoi especially brought to my hotel as a memory of this great afternoon!

wonderful food
Apr 2017 • Family
We have found this lovely little restaurant in Riverside Plaza. Although the atmosphere could be a little better, the service and food is totally amazing! Having eaten Thai food in Bangkok at quite a variety of place, I have to admit that few restaurants manage to get the taste of food quite as good, as the chef at Bangkok BOLD manages to. We will be returning several times before we fly back to Europe!

Delicious traditional Thai food
Mar 2017 • Friends
I've eaten at the newly opened restaurant at Riverside Plaza twice in the last month and its great. The service is efficient and friendly. The menu isn't huge but there's plenty to keep you interested. The crab and coconut relish served with crispy rice crackers was fantastic. I also had the best green curry I think I've ever had in Thailand. It was served with fermented rice noodles and a whole array of vegetables and herbs. The Khao Soy also won plaudits from my friends. The desserts are good. I opted for the coconut ice whilst my friends chose the pandan cake with coconut cream which was huge and delicious. The sticky rice treats wrapped in pandan leaves are also delicious. Go there and fill your boots!
