Possibly the worst escape rooms in Bangkok
Oct 2019 • Couples
As seasoned Escapists, we love trying games around the world. Having previously completed the star wars themed room elsewhere, hopes were high for Ticket to Mystery. We chose curse of the pharaoh and honjou masamune as the most challenging offerings.

The first major challenge was to find the place! Hidden away in a shopping centre, we turned up 15 minutes late.

We took on pharaoh first, which was a low budget letdown. You follow laminated cards and stickers around a corridor, and then the climactic ending just wasn't - we expected more, but the guide walked in and told us the room was complete.

Honjou was similarly a letdown - math puzzle after math puzzle with no relation to the room theme, and we were coming close to just giving up as all of the fun had gone.

We will definitely not be back to play their other games, as the prices were similar to the UK with games made on a Thai budget!

Not bad but very one dimensional
Aug 2019 • Friends
We did two rooms back to back: firstly the Jack The Ripper themed one, then Curse of the Pharoah. As a team of 3 we managed to complete both within the time quite easily, but I can't say it was overly impressive.

Both rooms were very one dimensional: find a code, open a lock... Repeat! The clues were often slightly off - just very tired. A number of the combination locks seem like they haven't been cleaned ever, so often were very finicky to actually get the code to accept.

The place was very musty too - could definitely use a good vacuum and clean. I think the ideas are good but it just feels like maintenance and cleanliness are not high on the agenda.

Not bad, but not great!

Bad puzzle, inaccurate briefing, review bribery.
Jun 2019 • Friends
We played this game and I can say as I've been to many many escape games. This is by far worst games I've every played.

Bad puzzle:
All the puzzle in the game wasn't really blended with the room theme. Many of them was just a laminated card with math puzzle for you to solve and doesn't follow any theming. One puzzle require you to measure the distance with the tape, and the result can be slightly vary based on how tight you pull the tape. Normally you should pull the tape tightly to measure the correct length so the tape isn't slack down, but to get the right number instead you need to let it slack down a bit, which against all the measurement practice.

Inaccurate briefing:
At the beginning the staff brief us that we shouldn't move object A, B and C. But after around 10 minutes where we couldn't proceed further, we decided to go out and ask (as walkie-talkie they provided isn't functioning) and find out that only A and B that shouldn't be moved. And then we found important clue under object C.

Review bribery:
They offer you 30% discount if you reviewed them on Facebook or Tripadvisor. This may be subjective but some may find it a cheap practice.

Summary:
Go play somewhere else. Anywhere else is better, because this is by far the worst in Bangkok, or even world that I've played.

Great fun. More for young teens or adult. Not so much for little kids. But I have fun with my son & daughter, 8 and 10 years old.

Great place to bond with family
Dec 2018
It is our first time for such game. Very interesting and enjoyable. My daughter and I chose the Murder scene. First room was a little scary for my daughter because of the sound effects and dark room. However, we can request for the volume to be lowered and lights on. Something new and not traditional. Families that visit Bangkok should try this. Too much food and shopping can be boring for the kids.
