Simple & casual outdoor community mall next to the boat pier in the old town. You can plan to stop by after visiting temples. A few things you can do here 1) Enjoy river view during sunset 2) Rent Thai costume in the morning (the shop is on 2nd fl) and shoot your photos at temple 3) Have lunch or dinner in Thai restaurant 4) Sip coffee at Starbucks or have famous local desserts at “After You”. Access by taxi, Grab, car or buses only.

I gotta say coming from the place where there's no such river like this around. I enjoyed being here so much. Beautiful place to take photo and lots of goodies to eat. Even big name like Starbucks is here with the river view. How nice is that. You also have alternative like The Coffee Club which provide wireless charging station on every table! How cool was that.

All kind of foods to pick. I opted for a Thai food which has river view if you sit on the 2nd floor. Nice decoration. A bit on the pricey side but worth it.

A place you should visit to see the sunset and chill after a long day of sightseeing and activities.

From early morrning until night time, this pier is really nice with good view of wat Arun and passing by ferry. You can take hop on and hop off ferrey from this pier to the other attractions. Not only variety of restaurants such as Thai authentic restaurant to nice coffee shops but also handicrafts stall and Thai snack stall around this mall.
Its location not far from the Grand palace so it is a good place to sip a cup of coffee before going on to the other interesting places.

This is a newly developed center beside Chaophya River.. A place near many attractive sites eg. ThaChang pier shuttle to Siriraj hospital....Wat Rakang....Wang lang market ...Prannok eating area across Siriraj.. The place contains enough eating places/restaurant and shops. walking distance is : Central Palace วังหลวง / Emerald , Buddha, Navy club , Central field สนามหลวง , Wat Pho with huge reclining Buddha and Yoka lessons. Lots of good restaurants European styles around. Walk or bike a little more to PakKlongTalad ...great area for flowers market in Thailand. As well as Talad YodPiman with pier for Express boat to many many more. A one day trip.

When I was young, I studied at Satree Wat Rakhang School, on the opposite site of Chao Phraya River and I used to travel by Rue Hang Yao (long motor commuting boat) from my home to Tha Maharaj. At that time, Tha Maharay was still a little port of water commuting with nothing more than a few shops.
Last month I attended a traning course in Bangkok and I arranged a meeting with my sisters and nieces at Tha Maharaj. When I got there - WOWWWWW - it has been dramatically changed with no resemblance to its past. It became a chill hang-out place for everyone - Thai or foreigners. With its advantageous location near Wat Phra Kaew, the Grand Palace and other attactions, Tha Maharaj worths your visit - either for lunch, shopping, a cup of coffee, or just sight-seeing of Chao Phraya River. Don't forget to go there on your next trip to Bangkok.

A sunny day not too hot and not too cold the weather is pretty nice. It is a good time to go somewhere outside. So I choose to go to Tha Maharaj it such a good place that near by the Jao Praya river. I travel by BTS to Saparn Taksin and after that I take Boat. It is cost 40 baht per 1 trip. This boat takes you along to the Jao Praya River. We can drop off whenever we want to and they will have a tour guide to tell us about the information including history of some building the we passed.

I decide to drop of at Tha Maharaj which is near by Tammasat University. It take about 30minutes to go there. Moreover, there are many ways to go to Tha Maharaj except boat, like others member in my group. They go by their private car from Ratchadamnoen Road and turn right into Maharaj road before Phra Pin-Klao Bridge, Its will located in in the left hand. You do not have to worry about the parking, because it have the building parking for 215 customer cars.

However, you can travel by Bus which no. 32, 53, 124, 203, 201, 32, 52, and 524.If you go by bus, it will drop you off at front of Thamaharaj you will see a big sign at the gate. After entering the gate, on your left hand, you will see bicycles on the wall and a painting of peeing dog. This place bring me a good feeling with a nice sunshine and a smell of the river. It has Starbucks. So we can sit and see the sunset over there. This is a good place to go with your friends your family or some one who love. This place is knows by a lot of people around the world. Someone told me they known by the movie in their country. So it will have a lot of tourism to come here. You can feel relax and comfortable to come here. I know this place when I drove a car over the bridge and I saw The name label of this place which is brightly of light of I can see the name tag of this place clearly.

I feel like it should have something interesting for me. So I find a lot of information how to go to this place and It does not make me feel upset anymore I really recommend people to come here. However, before you to come here I prefer to check the weather first because of it is the place that does not have much roof to protect the water from the rain or the sun during in summer. It is good to go to when the night time or just a little bit before the sunset. This place is open at 10 o'clock in the morning and close at 8 o'clock at night.

This place is such a good place for any kind of people. It has many things combine together in one place. After we stepped into that place we knew that we have chosen the right place to do the interview. It was like this place had some strange aura radiated off of it, which was not bad at all, in the opposite way it was charming and attracting us so hard. We got to this place at about 3 pm and it wasn’t hot because it was raining, but only a little bit. So the weather was nice and we could barely see the sun light came out from the edge of the cloud made an impact against our skin, looks shiny while it was cloudy by the time. We felt and heard the air travelled passed us right from the river, water and bird sounds gave us the feeling like we were at a sea. Light bulbs hanging all over the place looked disturbing but shiny and colorful. We always thought it was a bad idea to hang those light bulbs but looks like we were wrong. If you know how to place them to make your place looks good, you wouldn’t say something like that.

As we continued to walk into this place we saw many people, especially tourists, which are foreigners, walk around all over the place. People in there were so crowded like some giant ant colony even though it was only in the afternoon. People went in, out, in and out while we were walking in like some strangers in a town. As noisy as bird nests, people were talking, chatting, laughing, screaming and exciting to be in this place. Merchants shouting out there products as an invitation to draw people attentions. This place has so many booths and restaurants and on that day we went to this place there was a booth that giving out free Yen Yen Ichitan Drinking juices to everyone who went on that day! There was a long line of people coming out from the Ichitan booth includes foreigners. So we went to that long line to grab us that juicy and tasty drink.

We prefer you to check the traffic before you decide to choose the transportation because we have went to that place by bus before and the traffic was really bad at that time when we go and when we get out from that place too so we reccomend you to travel by boat. It will save your time and your money, so you will have more time and more money to spend at Tha Maharaj.

As about the staff you don't need to worry about when you get lost or what ever problem is because of they also have staff stand all around the area including the security the stand in three zone specially next to the cannel and a lot of sign to warn us about the dangerous things.

the reason why we choose this place because it is the one of the most interest place in Thailand. Especially, the Loykrathong Festival on 25 November, it will have many activities for the tourist to visit such as such as games or fireworks and concert by the popular artist of Thailand. So, we recommended you to go to this place.

The pier has undergone a major renovation and now features a number of cafes, restaurants and the new amulet market upstairs.

We ate at Ros Niyom which was pretty good, but there aren't many other options unless you're after cake and coffee. There's the obligatory Starbucks and a number of cafes and desert bars. More than half the outlets are a desert cafes of some description.

Worth a stop before or after a visit to the grand palace or wat pho. Keep an eye on local street press for the market days that happen here.

It is a pier along the Chao Phraya River that looks like a Community Mall, especially if it's during the night time. There will be beautiful lights decorated, there are many beautiful people standing here. We had a lot of fun getting here.

Lots of restaurants, dessert bars, shops and spas to choose. Boat tours are also available here. Traveling shouldn't be so rush. Here is a good place to take some times to eat and chill.
