A good street food market packed with people, get really busy at night, lots of knock off goods, fun to experience and see but nothing remarkable.

Great place to try all the different types of street food and Thai food. Prices are reasonable. Near the train station and also a shopping mall. Easy to get to. However lots of stalls selling same stuff... Good luck in trying them out

This market is open daily 5:00-1:00 am. We arrived around 7:00 on a Tuesday. The place was beyond packed so I couldn't imagine how it is on the weekends. There were locals here but also large tour buses pulling up of tourists. Theres an abundance...More

First time at this night market, it was nice to walk around, lots of stands with all kinds of goods and also a lot of food. One advise, don’t buy the cologne/perfume knock-offs, they are cheap (100baht) but last literally 5min and you have to...More

It has been getting worse every time I visit it. Packed with people and overpriced food that taste pretty horrible compared to more authentic stalls. Exact same stalls can be found belonging to the same owner probably. No quality or variety now :( Better to...More

I went there and surprisingly there were a lot of seafood stalls. We finally went to the end of the market, a more quiet place with a stall specialising Salty crusted grilled fish. It was great! Simple but tasty! And I went to the stall...More

We literally ate our way through this market. So many vendors and lots of food. Merchandise too though shopping was not our objective. Very much enjoyed spending one of our Bangkok evenings here!

There are hundreds of stalls and by far one of the largest nite market. It is very easy to get to by Metro and the stop is Cultural Centre. The food stalls are just so many and so magnetic! So many choices that you just...More

Yes, it is here at this market. In the first row closest to the Esplanade Mall side. Also a girl makes colorful cartoon pancakes on the same row!

What time would be good to visit Train Night Market Ratchada? After 7.30 or 8.30?

The stalls start setting-up around 4-5pm but the food stalls somewhat earlier to cater to the office workers. Full swing at around 8pm onwards when the drinking patrons drop over after their leisurely dinner and the bands start their gigs at the joints, located further in towards the end.

I'm very interested in going to this market as I love vintage & antique stuff, but I'm a bit confused by what appears to be 2 separate entries for "Train night market" in TA: 1. "Train night market" (which I believe is also called "Talad Rot Fai"?) @ Srinakarin Soi 51 - https://www.tripadvisor.ca/Attraction_Review… and 2. "Train Night Market Ratchada" @ 322/289 Soi Yu Charoen, Ding Daeng - https://www.tripadvisor.ca/Attraction_Review… Are these different markets, or the same?...More

#1 is the replacement for the "original" train market. Most of the vendors moved here. It's a bit out in the sticks and not really easily accessed, except by taxi. #2 is a new "replacement". It is easy to access by the MRT. I haven't been to either. Not interested.
