The area
Address
Neighborhood: Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
How to get there
  • Asok • 3 min walk
  • Sukhumvit • 4 min walk

Can I have my 15 minutes back?
Jan 2020 • Solo
Well that was a waste of 15 minutes of my life. Nothing to see, do, or buy. Mostly what appear to be empty units.

Not very good
Oct 2019 • Couples
Good location but it's a big no for shopping. There are many big, bright and clean shopping malls close by and this is well out dated. Nothing of interest and the food outlets are not very good either. It's handy if you need to use the bathroom though.

Has seen better days

Unfortunately it is looking a bit dated, and many stores are empty.

The pianist on the ground floor was good if you want to listen to free live classical music. Apart from that, a mall to go if you want to (almost) be by yourself.

Nothing to do or see here
Sep 2019 • Solo
Rather boring shopping plaza with a mix of beauty and dental clinics, tour agents, pharmacies and average dining options. Coffee shops are probably main reason to pay a visit (cafe amazon and Starbucks are located here). Decent toilets too.

This is a Unique Shopping, Eduational, Corporate Center that meets needs of foreignors and locals
Feb 2019 • Solo
Time Square is called a shopping center and a building center mall. It is difficult to describe. It has over 20 floors because there are corporate offices and language schools. The first three are geared toward shopping; more unique "souveniers; mid to higher-end boutique clothing; spas, and Thai- International (average, mid and higher- range) restaurants, yet there is thankfully an awesome Subway Restaurant!! There is a good-size and popular Amazon Coffee, dentists, dermatology clinics, pharmacys, and a Starbucks I love that has plenty of seating. That's worth a stop for me!

Unity Thai Language (UTL) School is based here on two floors which is one of the oldest and well known Thai language schools in Bangkok. For intergenerational- International students this center meets everyone's needs.

I love going to Subway for a salad with chicken and olive oil. I love Lumuna which is my favorite place for a pedicure ever! I enjoy eating at the Piano on the first floor which offers Thai, French and Korean cuisine. Live and lovely piano music often with mellow soloists singing is going on through the day and fills the first 3 shopping floors with a soothing atmospere. It's a pleasant enough- worthy stop just to get a Starbuck's beverage and sit out in this broad and beautiful lobby area and listen to the music alone or with a friend.

This is a great place to begin especially if you dont want to browse or eat in loud crowds and chaos! If you don't find what you want you can cross the bridge from inside Time Square over to Robinson's Department Store and Terminal 21. Ask at the information desk at entrance or the doorman. I think you cross over on the 2nd or 3rd floor?

This is right down the stairs from the Asoke BTS and almost as close to Nana BTS. There is also a parking garage next door between Time Sqaure building and the Grande Sheraton Hotel.

Do people really go there to shop?
Jan 2019 • Couples
Times Square Shopping Centre is conveniently located across the street from the Asoke BTS Station.

The many times that I have been there, it is definitely not to shop. Sometimes it feels like a ghost town as it can be very empty and quiet. A renovation is much needed to attract more business. The only time that I have been there to shop is to the drugstore , but I also could of gone across the street.

The only times that I go there is if I am looking for something to eat. They have a Korean BBQ restaurant, Chinese Restaurant, Subway, Starbucks and some others.

So unless you are looking for something specific to eat or buy, I would not go to the Times Square Shopping Centre. There are better options in the same area.

Don't confuse
Apr 2018 • Couples
Don't compare and confuse this place with the likes of T21 or other malls.

This is essentially an office block with a few retail outlets which serve the staff who work in the building. The place is not busy at weekends because of this.

The restaurant 'Isabelle' on the ground floor serves excellent original Thai food in air conditioned comfort at a reasonable price.

Lunchtimes there is live music, some customers join in occasionally. The guitarist who plays on Sunday's and Monday's is exceptionally talented and can play beautiful classical Spanish music.

The building serves as a useful method of crossing Sukhumvit or accessing the Skytrain at Asoke.

On a rainy day a place for restaurant and walking
Jan 2018 • Friends
Also when its outside very hot, its a place for cool down :-) Unfortunately, it no longer has the splendor of bygone days. There are more beautiful places to shop. Nevertheless, it is a huge consumption temple and they are currently converting a lot. I'm looking forward to the next visit what has changed

Awful
Dec 2017 • Friends
I don’t often give a one star review but this place is truly awful. Maybe since the opening of terminal 21 across the road. 4 floors of hardly any shops, boots, Starbucks and Watson’s chemist on ground floor and a few independent restaurants, spa’s and hairdressers scattered elsewhere. A guy playing the piano with a guy sitting next to him singing, Barry Manilow sang by a Thai guy is truly awful. However spotlessly clean and lots of cleaners

Misleading name
Dec 2017 • Couples
Do not be impressed with the Time Square name as this is basically a small shopping complex with little options. Mainly beauty salons with little to offer.
The place was deserted on a Sunday and many shops were not opened.
Do not waste your time exploring the place
