Today started out very early. We met at the office and left on time. Oh, Nong, and Sam were terrific tour guides. It was nice to leave so early because traffic was minimal. Was good fun waiting for the train to arrive and also riding it to the market. You have to see the market to believe it. So cool how everyone moves their wares when the train arrives. After hanging out there for a while, we went to the floating market. Since it's during the time of covid, there were no other foreign tourists. Many of the stalls were closed but being on the river was fascinating. Oh got us a boat and we were paddled around to different stalls. It was really nice. Afterwards, we ate by the river. Then, we made one last stop to a family farm to learn about the process of making palm sugar. Oh told us about the family and gave us a tour of their home. Fascinating. It was an all around great day. We would definitely do another tour with them again.

Really wanted to see the train market and boat Market so this tour was perfect! Free pickup from your hotel. Guide was very informative throughout. Also had water and snacks for us multiple times throughout the day. There was traffic heading to and from but van was air-conditioned and very comfortable. Amazing deal!

What a great way to see the local market. You are so close to the moving train when it comes through that many of the locals push you out of the way. Lots of local produce/seafood/spices/herbs/etc. Go in the morning so it’s not too overcrowded.

This was an excellent trip and our guide sarah was the best.We were collected from our hotel and then proceeded through the country side where we had points of interest shown on the way . The trip included a train journey and visit to the train market before heading to the floating market and trip in a long tailed boat Sarah purchased along the way local food specialty for us group of ten to taste and experience. This trip was worth every penny and I highly recommend it.

We visited this train market in the morning and were lucky enough to have a seat and a coffee to watch by the side of the tracks. The siren sounds and all the people scurry to get their goods out of the way of the train before it passes through. Tourists come to see this unique market that sits right on the train tracks. The market was started before they built the train tracks so the railroad built the tracks right in the middle of the market. After the train passes, wander through the market. There are so many fascinating items for sale, especially in terms of foods they eat.
