Absolutely fantastic service from this company. My wife and I were on a Bridge on the River Kwai with Pete our guide when we mentioned a river cruise in the evening as it was my wife's 50th. Pete contacted his company (when he had a signal lol) and sure enough it was booked. Straight to the river we went from our full day tour and had the most magical evening dinner cruise. The impressive river boat 'River Pearl' arrived blaring out the 'Mission Impossible' theme tune lol and dancers danced on the key in front before we got on board. The dinner consisted of a large buffet which catered for the mjority and to top it off it was the flower festival that evening. Beautiful lights of the city along the river during this decently long cruise with festival fireworks going off around us was magical. A birthday cake and the chance to place festival flowers in the river for my wife topped off a fabulous evening. A great chance to see Bangkok at night without the hustle and bustle. Highly recommended.

This private tour was such an amazing experience for our family!

When we booked, Chockchai kindly worked with us to create a customised private tour to suit our timeframe and interests.

Transported in a super comfortable van by our excellent driver we felt in good hands.

Our personal tour guide Pongsin was fantastic! He is very knowledgeable and went out of his way to make sure we were well looked after; from handing us bottles of cold water and fresh bananas as snacks when we returned to the van, to sharing stories of living in Thailand during Covid 19 lockdowns as well as answering our questions about history, religion and politics.

We loved the Elephant Sanctuary which we kept as a surprise for our children. Feeding them, bathing them an learning about how the are cared for followed by a buffet lunch at the Sanctuary was such a great experience!

Our trip to Hellfire Pass with it's dark history and too many horrific stories was quite moving. This was a place we didn't know much about before booking.

Our night at the floating Jungle Rafts was a awesome! We loved jumping off the board walk at one end and floating in the fast moving current of the river Kwai Noi to the other, climbing out abs doing it again!

We had a great morning exploring Erawan falls. Walking to all 7 plateaus and swimming at a few of the falls we found some that you can slide dome the fall and others that you can swim behind! The feet cleaning fish are quite an experience too!

We've never been on a private tour like this before and we found it a great way to see the best bits and having a great guide was the icing on the cake!

We'd definitely recommend to others. Especially those who have limited time.

Thanks Pongsin, Coakchai and the Amazing Asia Tours team!

Sam our guide was amazing with so much information and history for the Private River Kwae tour. He was very understanding of my older Mother. It was a highlight of our visit to Bangkok to be able to see the history and to have Sam to be able to guide us and show us everything so we could explore the history.

Our full day personal trip to the war museum, the bridge over the River Kwai and then to Erawan national park and waterfalls was outstanding. Our tour guide, Ken, and our driver were excellent. Very friendly and informative. They couldn't do enough to help us and made our trip very memorable.
I would 100% recommend this luxurious way of travelling.

We did the floating market tour and it was so much fun! Our tour guide Tony did an excellent job. He was on time, very professional and gave a lot of history throughout the day. I would highly recommend asking for him!

We did a day tour to the Summer Palace and Ayutthaya. The sites were well worth the trip but I was very disappointed with our guide when all was said and done. I won't dwell on that other than to say I wish I'd used TripAdvisor rather than take a referral from an acquaintance. Check prices and recommendations. I didn't and I overpaid for poor English and little information.

As far as the sites go the Summer Palace is a huge Versaille like complex with water features, gardens and many beautiful buildings. You can easily imagine the royal family decamping the heat and getting away there. It's large, but a tour is a manageable walk in 60-90 minutes.

The thing I'd tell you about Ayutthaya is that it turns out that term describes a whole region. There's tons you can see in it. Mostly ruins, but grand impressive ones. The thing is, there's far too much to see in a day. So if you're on a day trip, you sort of need to pick the highlights (again highlighting the value of a quality guide). If you can do a little research in advance and have a couple points you want to make the focus of your tour, all the better.

We just wrapped our day at Elephant World, and I had to write this review. EW, is you are concerned, is a beautiful, ethical, environmentally responsible sanctuary. I did much research to be sure we didn’t visit anywhere that would exploit the animals. We could not have been more impressed. Our day began early with private pick up at our hotel. The driver was polite, but must not have known English because he didn’t speak to us the entire 2.5 hour drive. We were the first guests to arrive for the day. We were greeted by our group leader, Gogo, who might be the friendliest and most energetic young man I’ve ever met. Once everyone arrived we were given a locker to store our personal items, and were divided into groups to set out on our day. Over the course of the day, we prepared food for the elephants, fed them, walked among them and loved on them. We were then treated to a delicious traditional Thai lunch. After lunch, we joined the elephants for a mud bath (prepare to get dirty!!) then walked them into the river to swim with them and bathe them. It was truly a remarkable experience. At the end of the day, everyone was given a clean towel, we showered on site, and changed into our clean clothes.
A few things to remember: bring sunscreen, a hat, bug spray, clothes for getting dirty/swimming, and a change of clothes.
Also, they have a precious little gift shop that only accepts Bhat, so bring money with you!

We have swam with dolphins and thought that was incredible. The experience we had with the elephants at Elephants World was one of the most special experiences we have had. We had no idea what this sanctuary was really going to be about. We got there and saw some elephants. Then our guide brought us to cut some grass with hatchets. We put our grass in the back of a pickup and walked a short way to a field full of elephants. We fed them, pet them, and took loads of pictures. We thought that was amazing. We got to feed a 68 year old elephant who no longer has teeth. We mixed up a soft mixture and fed her balls of it. But the day got better! This may sound strange, but we got into a huge mud puddle. We slathered the elephants with mud. Sounds crazy, but was so much fun. Then the elephant got up and walked over to the river. We followed her and she went into the river and so did we. We washed her off with buckets and brushes. She sprayed us with water, rolled over, and lay in the water. We were right there. It was a moving experience. After that we went and fed the baby elephants. If you are an animal lover and get a chance to go to Thailand, visit Elephants World. This is a sanctuary for elephants that have been mistreated, are old, or just need a safe place. The people there love these animals and you can really see it. elephantsworld.org

We visited during the dry season and as a result our group only consisted off about 7/8 people which meant we had a very personal experience.

The elephants were very well looked after.

In the morning, we had a brief safety talk and were able to feed the elephants. Our group was small enough that we had an elephant each to feed. We were also given a talk on the different foods they feed to the elephants.

We did have to do a little "work" which involved cleaning a few Yams. However, this was very short, we literally did a bucket full each which probably only took about 10 minutes.

We got to hang around with the elephants. The elephants were very tame and friendly and were happy for you to come and up and stroke them. Made for some great photos.
We were also able to feed the two baby elephants (a girl at 8 months and a boy at 12 months). This was a beautiful experience. Due to the age of the girl, we had to peel the bananas before feeding her.

There was also the older elephant to feed where we had to make grass balls for her.

Finally we bathed the elephants in the mud bath and got to swim with them too. There was also the chance to swim int he water with piers to jump off and a swing. Throughout the experience, the elephants were given free reign to leave the water when they pleased. We visited another elephant camp and the elephants were shouted at and threatened with sticks. However, at Elephant World the elephants were treated with respect and didn't do anything they didn't want to. There was always guides around so you did feel safe.

The facilities were also really good. Nice clean shower (with towels provided) and the lunch was a good buffet.

If you want to see elephants then this is the most ethical way we experienced in Thailand and will be an experience you will not forget.
