Excellent 3 hours

Tl;dr: the service is amazing, being a large male able to find a massage that goes 3 hours with consistent strength is mircale.

I do consider myself as an avid Bangkok holiday maker, the frequencies are almost into the double digits. I used to love exploring for a perfect spa ended with disappointment, so these days I prefer going to places that people recommended.

This time is unique spa. Due to the location of this little gem, a booking and a complimentary pick up is required. The kind owner picked us up and explained to us about the upcoming spa experience to us. We picked the rainforest treatment which starts with a Thai massage, seamlessly turn into a aromatherapy massage then end with a heated medicine ball therapy. The whole thing is done with care, she managed to find all my knots and most importantly, being a six feet tall guy whom like a strong massage, she managed to sustain a consistency for full 3 hours!!

The therapy was great with warm Thai hospitality, the owner Delphine was also very kind. Could truly recommend to anyone seeking a great long massage/therapy.

Great Spa, Excellent value for money

We are 2 couples to Bangkok for Anniversary and Honeymoon. We were staying in AETAS Lumpini and were hoping to find spa nearby our hotel. And Unique Spa came up.

We were at first hesitant because there were only 2 reviews of it on TA, and 1 is bad. However we then discover it has a facebook page and there were many good reviews there, so we decide to give me a try.

The Spa owner is friendly and responsive on facebook and we used whatsapp to communicate with her. So all questions are answered and bookings were done easily. She was happy to drive to pick us up at AETAS Lumpini hotel.

The spa is a small one located in a residential area. But the interior is comfortable and the treatments offered were good. There was a board written suggesting 200 Baht as tips, which is the average tips amount for spa therapists here and we have no problem with it.

On our last day we visited it again. The spa owner picked us (and all our luggage) up from hotel and helped us book a 7 seater taxi to airport (difficult to fetch a 7 seater taxi downtown), it certainly feels good to have a spa treatment before your return flight.

If you are interested, search for their facebook to get in touch with the owner, and remember booking is a must. They accept cash only. They have complimentary transfer from/to Lumpini MRT station.

Poor treatment in Bangkok

Have visited this shop previously. It's located in a carpark block of residential area, quite far away from the central area. The therapist was inexperienced with her nails hurting my body. The place is very small and feel uncomfortable. The most unsatisfied thing is that the owner requested customers to pay minimum 200 bahts tips!! It's not about the issue of the quantity of tips, but tips shall not be made compulsory. If the service is good, customer will pay from their pocket with smile.

Great Experience!

I visited Unique Spa with my husband and two of my friends from the States in July. After reading many positive reviews from other forums, we decided to give this a try.

We went there on the last day of our journey and booking was made prior to our departure from Hong Kong. I sent email to the shop owner for reservation and asked if she could pick us up with all of our suitcases, from the hotel to her shop so that we could go to the Airport directly after the spa. The owner was so friendly and agreed to do so.

We were staying at the Hotel Muse Langsuan and the spa owner arrived 5 minutes before the pick up time. She was a HongKonger who also speaks fluent English (she was able to communicate with my American friends easily) and moved to Bangkok 1 year ago. It was just around 10 mins drive from our hotel to the spa shop.

The shop was very clean and the ambience was lovely. It was not a large shop but it made you so comfortable. All of us had the ‘Unique Signature’ which cost THB4,250 after discount. It consisted of body scrub, herbal ball compress, body mud wrap, head message and body oil message, total 4 hours. My husband and I shared a room while my friends shared another one. The towels were clean and the quality of the therapists was great. They were well trained and we did enjoy the whole process!

After the 4-hr therapy, the owner served us tasty fruits and tea that were so refreshing. She helped us to get a taxi and it took just 25 mins to the Airport as there was no traffic jam on that day. We truly appreciate the kindness of the owner and this wonderful spa experience. We shall definitely come back again.

Points to note:
1. Make reservation before go there.
2. Pick-up service with 2 pick-up points : Amarin Plaza (near Four faced Buddha) and Lumpini MRT station
