A chance to visit the local markets, learn how to prepare four different Thai dishes, prepare the dishes and then eat them as a Thai meal.
Not taken too seriously and plenty of advice on hand if you forget what each additive is or how...More
We had a later afternoon class which followed by dinner. The cooking process was simple enough to follow but the ingredients preparation will require some time. Nevertheless we had fun and the dinner was good. Great experience.
After hitting up every possible market in Bangkok and Phuket, I decided to sign our partner and I to a cooking class at Blue Elephants.

I was able to attend one of their cooking classes during our recent trip to Bangkok. Online registration was easy and so was finding the venue. The easiest way to get to the place is by taking the BTS. You won't miss the place since...More
Very interesting market tour and cooking class. Professional knowledgable chef with good English and little accent. I specially enjoyed eating our work in the restaurant afterward rather than in the studio after each preparation as some other cooking classes do.

Taking the cooking lesson was a great way to fight jet lag. I would have preferred the morning session with the market tour, but it was booked. The school / restaurant was near a skytrain stop so getting there was easy. They gave us aprons...More
Sathorn is Bangkok’s central business district, but here you’ll find much more than international banks and suited-up office workers. Take a stroll along the small alleys between the skyscrapers and you’ll find yourself among Bangkokians living life at a much slower pace. Feast on fantastic Thai food which you can find in the town-house restaurants, office food courts and sidewalk food stalls spread all over the
area, especially around St. Louis Hospital. A visit to Sathorn is not complete without a drink at one of the glitzy sky bars perched atop its skyscrapers.
