We met our group and guide, Tony, at the train station in downtown for an evening Tuk Tuk tour. The tour exceeded our expectations. We were in a caravan of 5 other tuk tuks, and our driver expertly drove us through the streets and back alleys of Bangkok to a street market where we tasted some of the local food, to a Flower market that was amazing in size, and to some of the local temples, where our guide shared his knowledge of the culture and history of the city. Tony was enigmatic and charming. At the end of the evening they delivered us back to our hotel. Very fun evening!

It is almost a year ago now that we went on our Bangkok at Night tour. Right on time we were warmly welcomed by our guide and led to the Tuktuks. Driving around Bangkok in a Tuktuk is amazing and fun! We stopped at some markets where we were introduced to delicious snacks. Our guide was ery friendly and patiently explained Thai culture and we learned a lot about the city. The food at the restaurant he took us to was excellent and visiting the temples at night was awesome due to the special atmosphere. Walking through the flower market was impressing and we were dropped off at our hotel by our friendly Tuktuk driver. We recommend this particular tour to everyone who hasn't the confidence to venture the city on one's own or try the food wiithout guidance. We enjoyed the evening very much the price was absolutely ok for what we were offered.

It is quite an amazing experience and to be able to see Bangkok by night at a different perspective. The tour organiser - Expique, the tour guides and the tuk tuk drivers are all very professional. Service is excellent. Highly recommended!

Miss Eye is a very gifted guide, really very knowledgeable and rightly proud of her culture and history. She brings to life the back streets and markets of Bangkok. She is funny and is able to connect with her guests...really lovely and the time goes so quickly. We would highly recommend Expique and Miss Eye and Mr Thongpan.. We also had a very nice group with us from all over the world!

I’ve lived in Bangkok for a year and a half now, and the Expique scooter tour was one of the best days I’ve had since living here! We booked as a surprise for a friend’s birthday at the end of January, and the company were particularly great in communicating with me during the run up. We weren’t sure whether it could go ahead due to Covid, so we weren’t asked for a deposit or to pay until the week of the trip. It was a private tour (just the 4 of us) and it was such a fun day! We had a brief lesson on how to use the scooters and then off we went! We took a boat across the river (scooters in tow!) and went to many different places that you just wouldn’t know or necessarily come across by yourself. Our guide, Yazz, was great at giving us detail about the places we stopped and tailored the day to what we wanted. We loved it so much that we’re definitely going to do another scooter tour with Expique.
When Thailand finally reopens its borders, please use this company for a tour! I’ve done a few with them now and they’re absolutely great, but suffering (as many places are) due to the lack of tourists. Highly recommend!

Went with the lovely Nylah on tuk tuk evening food tour, Bangkok. Good fun, if a little nerve wracking at times, scooting round Bangkok on a Friday evening but our driver, Mr Somlee was clearly a dab hand. Nylah was lovely- very knowledgeable and friendly. Food stops were very different, getting close as you’ll get to the real Bangkok - delicious! Also a great opportunity to visit the temples at night. You can’t get right in but the piece and quiet of the sites all lit up is worth it. Great way to spend an evening and to eat well.

We did the Bangkok Night Lights - Small Group Tuk Tuk Tour with tour Guide Sasa.
Sasa was tour guide and made sure everyone enjoyed the food, there were 3 people with vegetarian preferences and she looked after is really well and made sure we enjoyed the experience perfectly well.
We visited 6 different places on the tuktuk which was amazing, including the flower markets, food market's and Chinatown.
We finished up the nights with a trip to Chinatown and good the best pancakes in town at Honey bear pancakes. They were absolutely delicious. Sara brought us to all the right places.
I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Bangkok.

This is one of the best tours you could possibly go on when visiting Bangkok. Especially if you are here only for a few nights like us. Our guide Mr Pat was so knowledgeable, warm and friendly. We learned a lot about the temples and culture of Thailand. We got to taste street food, saw the 24hr flower marker, went to China Town and ate crickets (eating the crickets is optional) and rode around the city in a tuk tuk. We had a lovely meal by the river and got taken back to our hotel after 4 hours (they will take you to your hotel if you are within the drop off zone, so worth asking). Everything is included in the price so don't eat too much before you go. Brilliant tour, we are so happy.

We did two tours with Expique. The evening Tuk Tuk tour with Bobo was amazing. The tour was a mix of history, culture, food, and we saw evening sites like the busy chinatown streets and the flower market that are completely different at night than the day. Bobo was so kind, had a deep depth of knowledge (including the stories behind the street vendors we bought food from), shared personal stories about being in Bangkok, and made for an unforgettable tour. We also did the Bangkok by day tour with Yazz. It was our first time in Bangkok, so we wanted a tour that hit the highlights of the city, and we extended our tour with the long tail boat ride and the tour of the grand palace. The tour, and Yazz, were exactly what we were looking for. Yazz was a great guide with so much knowledge, a passion for the history and culture, and a fun and friendly personality where we learned not only about Bangkok but about his experiences growing up there. Both tours were fantastic and highly recommended.

We just had the most wonderful tour with guide Sasa. Not only was she knowledgeable about the sites we visited, answering endless questions and providing interesting background information, but also made excellent recommendations for dinner choices. She gave us great options for choosing between local fare and more main stream options. She also made sure to offer us the fried insects, and although we declined, they made for great pictures!

Good afternoon, i will be in Bangkok soon, and would LOVE to try this tour. I will be with my husband and 8 year old daughter. Will we be able to joing a regular group tour? My daughter is very tall and loves to travel like her parents. please let me know if this is possible.

We have a minimum age of 10 on our evening join-in tours as it is important for us to maintain the group dynamics which adds to the experience. We are conscious that families with younger children may prefer an earlier start and more flexibility to adapt the tour to their needs. However, if you feel that your kid will be ok then we can make an exception. You can book a join-in tour

We can accommodate to Halal diet but the choices will be limited. We have done it in the past and it came out well. It will be a combination of street food and a restaurant.

We will be staying at the riva surya. My husband and I are wanting to try street food. Feel that going with a tour guide that could help us navigate the cleaner stalls would be best.
Does this tour give you a good sampling from different places and areas? I’d love to try the best pad Thai as well as other items I wouldn’t try on my own.

Dear Grace,
I think you may have booked already but just to clarify that It is our ""Evening Food and Tuk Tuk Adventure" that is a food focused tour and includes a lot more street food. It does not stop at Thip Samai which is the most famous Pad Thai (but everyone will debate if the best). We have other treats instead ;)
On the other hand our Bangkok Night Lights Tour / Bangkok by Night: Temples Market and Food (same tour) is a cultural tour with food and stops at Thip Samai - we do not consider it a full food tour.
There are several companies that offer evening tuk tuk food tours and Midnight Food Tour is another company.

Our tours do not stop in Khao San Road. If you do a private tour we can adapt. However, we would normally recommend that we could simply drop you there at the end as you really do not need a guide.
