Sathorn is Bangkok’s central business district, but here you’ll find much more than international banks and suited-up office workers. Take a stroll along the small alleys between the skyscrapers and you’ll find yourself among Bangkokians living life at a much slower pace. Feast on fantastic Thai food which you can find in the town-house restaurants, office food courts and sidewalk food stalls spread all over the area, especially around St. Louis Hospital. A visit to Sathorn is not complete without a drink at one of the glitzy sky bars perched atop its skyscrapers.

I first visited about a year or so ago, when I stayed with a Thai friend who lived within this area. The place looked decent and clean, so I went in to give it a try. Was surprised by the excellent service and the lady at the counter spoke fluent English... the area isn't a particularly tourist area, except for the Somerset hotel down the same road. It's probably difficult to find your way here on your own except with a taxi.

The massage begins with a food scrub, and you're then led upstairs to get changed and the "torture" begins... in a good sense! The ladies here are really strong and skilled. I always leave with my body a little sore, but that is exactly what a good Thai massage needs to do - for me, at least. My body gets stretched and turned in all the right ways.. and the masseuse also seem to know where all the muscle knots are and work extra hard on them.

Prices are really affordable here. 2 hours of the Thai massage is only 450Baht.
They also offer facials and other spa.

My most recent visit however, was dampened by our masseuses' incessant attention to the time. Unfortunately for them, they hadn't realised that I can understand quite a bit of Thai... and so I heard them constantly asking "how much time left..." Even though they continued to do a good job, I was disappointed at how it felt like they were just looking forward to getting over and done with the job and "talking behind" their customers.

But I'm sure it's been a long and tiring day for them and it wasn't their fault that I could understand them... Still a great place to visit, especially if you're staying in the SIlom area because this isn't too far away. Catch a cab, and ask to go to Suan Phlu. It is along the main road on your right, just after Soi 1.

They are located along Soi Suan Phlu in Sathorn district.

The establishment is owned and operated by a Thai lady, who has received qualified training.

The interior looks a little old and dark but don't be fooled by its appearance. The massage rooms and toilets are very clean and well maintained.

During my visit, I chose the Aroma Therapy massage (Swedish+Sport massage). My masseuse was very strong and she has good techniques. After the session, I felt relaxed yet my body was recharged. Well worth the THB 600 price tag.

My wife and son had the foot massage and they liked it too as their masseuse did a good job as well.

I went to this spa for a Thai massage. The staff and surroundings were ok. However, after the therapist finished giving me the massage, I asked her how come she did not stretch my legs, back and arms? She said that's not part of the service. Once i got dressed and went downstairs to pay for the service, i asked the cashier which massage includes stretching of legs and body, she said Thai massage. I told her the therapist said that its not part of Thai massage. She didnt respond and offered me tea. Needless to say, I didn't leave a tip as the massage i received was a regular massage applying pressure only, no stretching included. If you go, clarify upfront what the massage entails.

I've been here many times as its one of the nicer looking massage parlours in the neighbourhood. Very relaxing environment, very clean, warm and welcoming. Prices are average. Some of the masseuses are very good, some are average and some not so good. This is the same in any massage shop in my experience. One negative thing is the massage girls often chat to eachother when you're receiving your massage and it can feel like they're not concentrating. Also sometimes the customers chat on their phones while being massaged. Overall still one of the best in the area

Cannot recommend this place enough! Fantastic Thai lady owner who speaks very good English. I visited in May 2017.
The massage was firm and relaxing, the masseuse was very strong, and the Thai massage left me feeling great. Good communication on the level of force,
The spa is large and clean and has been established for 10 years the owner told me in conversation, with many regular customers.

Foot massage places in Thailand only are outnumbered by 7/11's it seems so it's hard to work out good ones versus Bad ones. And price doesn't necessarily reflect quality. I've been to Ban Chomnard about a dozen times. And almost every time I've had a super foot massage. It's not fancy to look at but it's seems like it's run by one lady who does a very professional job. They also do all
Other types of massage and facial treatments as well which I have not tried. But value for money and quality it's very hard to beat this place. I don't generally pick massages places by trip advisor reviews and have tried a nearby one that was supposedly great (I posted a review on that too) and I guess sometimes reviews are not to be believed. However in my experience. You can do a lot worse than this spa. And especially for the money.
