Ok, so the views are nice. But there is no seating, the service isn't great and the drinks are pricey. Much better sky bars in Bangkok. I think it's just a novelty because of the Hangover movie. Would rather go to Moon Bar & Grill.

I would suggest a visit to anyone who enjoys the skybar scene. Breathtaking views of Bangkok's skyline. It has a tendency to be a bit windy at times and there is no outside respite areas from getting blasted. The drinks are priced at the upper level of all skybars in BKK and they have very limited seating areas. Friday and... More

Not a bad place to visit. Great views and skybar is great. Just beware no shorts. So make sure you wear long pants or you've wasted your time going

Booked 2 Superior Suites with balconies and River Views on 51st floor for 4 nights before and after trip to Ko Samui. The rooms were spacious and beatifully appointed with one of the best room sevice menus we have ever encounted. Will definitely make this our regular hotel whenever in Bangkok.

sure i agree it is the most famous skybar in town. but not the best, not by a longshot. it is too expensive. just to get up there is a challenge after i was declined entry on 2 earlier attempts ( very strict clothing and bag policy that only seems to apply on men) i finally made it up i... More

Amazing view. I came here because of the Hangover 2 scenes. Dinner is good too in this place, must visit.

Large rooms, great views, AMAZING huge breakfast (best I've ever seen in the world, available until 11am). Great bar on top with an amazing view. I usually book on Agoda but compare their website too.

This is a strange building. It's got Scirrocco with amazing views that is a must go to visit. It's got some good restaurants lower. And yet it has a downstairs lobby that is incredibly depressing and a hotel that I think is awful---low ceilings. To me the only reason to come is for the restaurants with the views---and overpriced food... More

Great place for an evening drink, stunning view all over Bangkok. If you've just arrived to B consider this (during the day to have the clear view) as a first step just to get the orientation what is where in the city, what are the distances etc.

Staying in Silom

Neighborhood Profile
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
