I've been to Bangkok so many times and never made it up here for a look, so figured I'd go and see if it lives up to the hype. Myself and a friend went on a Saturday night around 9pm, thinking this would be the most ideal time for atmosphere etc as well as taking in the view. The view... More

More commonly known as the building that houses the Lebua hotel, this place used to be one of my favourite places to wind down in Bangkok until Hangover 2 created a buzz that started attracting swarms of people. The entire experience changed from being luxurious and elegant to being trashy and touristy.

Famous for it's appearance in Hangover 2, the bar has amazing view of the city. If you only go there for a drink you can only stay upstairs and can not really enjoy the full view. The prices are very high, as expected. It is however worth to make a visit once.

Was told to give this place a visit to enjoy the view. Visited today and the place is a waste of time and $. Drinks are damn expensive. The views are normal and no wow effect. There are better views from other skyscrapers out there in this world. Don't bother about this place.

This place is very beautiful and really does have the best views of Bangkok. And yes, as the other reviewers mention, it is NYC prices for drinks but go up, have a drink, enjoy the views, get pictures, and then leave.

Bad: $120 usd for a glass of the cheapest champagne is ridiculous. If you don't pay for champagne you can't watch the live band. Also, staff seemed somewhat snooty. Good: Beautiful views of the city

Well worth a trip up here to see the views - we went at night but wish we'd also got to see the view by day. We did expect it to be a little pricey considering the strict dress code (my boyfriend had knee length shorts but was not allowed in - luckily he managed to rent some long trousers... More

They try to create some fake exclusivity by dress codes and other nonsense. Prices are way to high for a less than average service level. When you come out the elevator on the 64th floor they guide you to the left. They push the champagne at ridiculous prices, there is hardly a place to sit. We prefer to go to... More

Staying in Silom

Neighborhood Profile
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
