The Paragon Mall is enormous in size featuring many brand name stores. It is a modern shopping complex with some great clothing and trendy accessories. But the prices were very high in most cases.

Be ready to spend a whole day walking around here. The bottom floor is all food, anything from cheaper street style food to upset restaurants to the best desserts you'll find in BKK. There is also a Gourmet Market, a very large grocery store with anything you could possibly want, and a great place for expats looking for staples from their countries. They have a wonderful wine/liquor shop as well. Be aware you cannot buy alcohol anywhere in Thailand from 2pm - 5pm daily. All other floors are divided by store type, there are maps and guest service booths around to help you find your way. On the top floor is the nicest movie theater I've ever been to.

The problem with visiting shopping malls like Siam Paragon is where to start. There's shops galore from high end to a huge department store. Despite Covid19 and a lack of tourists, it was still busy with queues outside Chanel and Louis Vuitton (the number of customers in the shop was regulated). After loading yourself enough with shopping, it's probably time to eat and, once again, you will be spoilt for choice. Thai, Italian, Indian are just three of the types of food on offer although, given the location, expect to pay an inflated price for your refreshment. If it's more in the line of afternoon tea required then check out places liked Harrods, Mandarin Oriental or Four Seasons for that extra special treat. If you've still time- and the energy than visit the gourmet food store. As well as traditional Thai foods, there is plenty of imported goodies available. One of the many good things about going to Siam Paragon is that's it's easy by public transport with a BTS station close by.
