About
More of a wholesale market than a shopping experience, the fresh flower market has become a tourist attraction thanks to its sheer size, beauty and exoticism.

Love it
Dec 2020
Love it, this is a real flower market with thousands of fresh orchids, lotus, and other flowers. And all flowers are extremely cheap!

So many amazing flowers... And at reasonable rate... Loved the experience... Will definitely recommend the place if you need a beautiful bouquet or want to buy flowers in bulk like I did for decoration purpose

A sight to behold.

The world of flowers.Gives you a first hand experience of a local market. I am told it is one of the biggest flower markets in Asia. Busy throughout the day.Be careful to let people pass as everyone is so busy. Small walking spaces in between hundreds of flower shops and activities everywhere. Some local eateries also serve the workers. A wonderful smell wafts the air of different types of flowers.

Unique experience - working Flower Market
Jan 2020
This is not a tourist attraction. This is real working flower market. Beautiful flowers, other items for sale but predominately flowers. Watch them make the flower offerings and funeral offerings. It is crowded. Be mindful of the scooters that use the aisles just like the pedestrians. Authentic and genuine and chaotic experience.

Fascinating sight
Mar 2020
Stumbled across this when we got off the water taxi at the wrong point - but we stumbled into a great sight - they seem to make Buddha offerings - mainly from yellow flowers (The garlands you see on the statures) this is worth visiting just to see the local culture and how things are made - the traders can be seen making the tributes. well worth a visit

Must see!

You must make time for this! The flower marked is totally different from what I have seen. Chaos, but with so much charm. A must go if you are in Bangkok!

Incredible flowers
Feb 2020
Worth wandering around just to see all the flowers. There are a few other things for sale around here, but it is primarily flowers. They are beautiful and smell amazing.

It is huge!
Jan 2020
We visited the Flower market as a stop on an organized tour, and we were surprised to find out how huge it is and we were told that this Flower market is the biggest one in Thailand and it is always open. The flowers has incredible beautiful colours, but I was surprised that I was not able to smell them.

Disappointing
Jan 2020 • Couples
A bit underwhelming. It's basically a market with a section (albeit a large one) selling flowers mainly for worship. Some are quite ornate but you see the same row after row. Worth going once just for the experience. About half an hour is enough.

Not a tourist attraction in my opinion
Jan 2020 • Friends
Very underwhelmed after reading such good reviews. If anything, I left here feeling very sorry for the hard working people having camera lenses shoved in their face by tourists with no interest in buying their goods. It isn’t designed to have lots of people walking up and down, and locals were fed up as the tourism is likely putting off paying customers.
I have only given it 2 stars as I would feel bad for the stall owners putting 1.
